Suggestion:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Colors of water...not so hot, more shades will be better

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Castle is way too cliched, try sumthing different/new. Maybe even a wood house? a hut? a modern city? or even a complicated civilization.

is the water right next to the land? if so add a muddy shoreline.

 

 

 

if not then show depth...i cant explain depth real well. add a knight on a horse maybe? or a castle with a warrior standing ontop raising his sword into the night sky, and skeletons or corpses around the castle.

 

 

 

And the sky would be a dark blue, so you can still see the outline of your charachters, VERY dark blue...like one shade above blank. (points to your siggy)

 

 

 

Anyway. So far its alright. but more shading.
