moopymitchell182
I'm level 82 combat and they are kicking my behind lol. I have them as a slayer mission. Any tips on how to beat them??? I can't even go in there for 30 seconds without getting a headache #-o here's my tip - wear dark sunglasses. it works well enough that you don't vomit. jagex should really get rid of them in my opinion, no one likes them anyway. That's where you're wrong. I like them, they are the only monsters that drop combo runes, (besides the Daggonnoth leaders which drops mud runes) if they would remove Killerwatts, I'd be ruined. :wall: I don't know why you quoted him... But I know what I would do either! I mean, using 2 spaces instead of one?! What would we ever do?!
pauloino
Also im thinking you mean daggonath kings instead of "leaders" :? killerwatts are usless imho, hit way to hard no matter what you wear, drops dont compensate for the cash spent on food, not to mention they look awful style is everything  Slayer FTW!!! Fabbles
Killerwatts are one of the worst slayer tasks. I had them once, and even with full red d hide and a load full of lobbies, I only killed about 30 :wall: . I now switch the task whenever I can, they are so not worth it. They don't seem to bother my eyes though...
Licky Kat
supposedly in low detail the flashing light doesn't happen. (just a tip to try out if you do get them as a task) Call me Kat, or Kathy Corkat

cleanleper
Yay I completed my task. I got 2 fire battlestaves that high alched for 9300 gp apiece so I didn't make out too bad.
koddo
I dunno why everyone has such a problem with them, they have good drops and as long as you wear a good combo of Melee and Mage defence it won't be that hard.

The problem is that most good melee defence has a huge mage penalty. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. The problem is that most good melee defence has a huge mage penalty. If you wear Melee legs (which has a huge mage penalty) and a shield, which has no mage penalty, along with Karils or Black D hide body, and then also have every other spot for mage defence, like a Legends or Obby cape, Ranger or Mage Boots, some sort of RFD gloves, you'll have an ok Mage defence and an ok Melee defence, and I was able to melee like 150 of them in a trip. pati
i burthope them always ... Computers will never be above humans because we made them. That's what monkeys used to say about us.
charlievamp
what happens if (this is hypothetical) that you burthope a task and get killerwatts and you are epiletic (sp?). What would you do then? That would be a bummer. 55/99 slayer.......I'll get there one day.
charlievamp
They are my slayer task right now. I wear full rune but bring high food and rings of recoil. I only kill about 7 or 8 at a time cuz they hit really fast, usually 5s or 6s. My slayer lvl is 52 and this is the most annoying task by far. I fished some swordies last night so I'm going to use them tonight to hopefully complete the task. Well with lobbies and red dragon hide i could kill about 10-15 in one go but thankfully I've finished that task \ 55/99 slayer.......I'll get there one day. (just a tip to try out if you do get them as a task) Kat I always play in low detail mode (leftover from a laggy connection 18 months ago and haven't got out ofthe habit) I wasn't sure what people were complaining about with the flashing light thing. However I can confirm you do not get the flashing lights in low detail mode. Quod liet ingratum est; Quod non licet acrius urit.
