By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .

A little thing I do:

When I am in a general store and I see a talisman, I buy it. I also pick them up off the ground.

When I have 12 or 13, I make tiaras and create enchanted tiaras. I turn around and sell them to the store. Easy, cheap xp.

Since Jagex converted all my rune essence to pure essence, this is how I get rc xp on F2P.

I'm with firestrike: Can someone please explain what this runecrafting on world 16 is? I've been playing for about a year now, and I only have an rc lvl of 28, and have been looking for inventive ways to train it, but I've never heard of the world 16 air company.

Airs - Level 1: You have to start with them, lowest XP, but one of the more desirable runes to use or trade. Miners can walk on to Rimmington mine.

Minds - Level 2: Can be in great demand, and great for arming your mage with strike spells. Altar location is pretty horrible though, a long walk from Falador (north gate) and a bit shorter (but low level wilderness) from Edgeville. Foor this reason , better to hold off until you get double (Level 14) or treble (Level 28).

Waters - Level 5: Altar is not too bad, from Draynor Bank or direct from Sedridor's teleport. Level 40 or higher miners can walk on to the Lumbridge mine - there is nothing for any lower level miners there.

Earths - Level 9: Not too bad from Varrock east and the run is rumoured to be a hotspot for Mimes/mazes, though Curse uses 3 earths and 2 waters, topping up with earth runes here and using a water staff works quite well, as this run is quicker than the waters.

Fires - Level 14: Never done them myself, as I go for the fire staff as soon as I can fire strike.

Body - Level 20: The higest F2p XP per ess and with the fence alteration, a lot faster than they used to be.

Curse trainers (water staff) would do well to power-level on bodies, from level 20 up to 26 for double earths.

If you do not have exceptional patience, mining ESS in packs of 500, rather than 1000, may be preferable, though if you are watching for level ups and double or treble ups, then do make certain that you have enough ESS to do it.

If you do bulk airs and minds (to trade or strike with), then watch the multiple rune points.

I did airs and other stuff to 28, minds all the way from 28 to 33 (tough, but worth it), then airs at 4x, arming my mage with strikes by the thousand.

There are times when you have to make that "bite the bullet" push, especially if you knoe that you do need the runes, and doing them piecemeal would actually cost you more time and essence.

Nice summarizing.

I would like to add that earth runes are also quite good xp. I had about 5k body runes from training so i made myself 15k earth runes with runecrafting (i could make triples) which was actually reasonable xp. In between i altered between minds (made about 30k of them, so only about 5-7k ess, i teleported to fally) and airs. So I mostly did airs yes.

And it IS boring.

My runecrafting is now lvl 60 (for more than 8 months already :D), but I might plan to get it to 65 with the world 16 company. If its true that yo u dont loose to much money then, and if it really is 20k (or more i understood) an hour...

i crafted airs all the way to 54 rc. it isnt that hard. just takes a long time and it is quite boring. but once u get up there. u can brag about it and then it becomes clear that it was worth the time \'

I solo crafted airs from well.. 1-60. when i came back to rs about 3 months ago, i had 41, and going from 41-60 runecraft i crafted about 205k airrunes, soloed. lots of running, WHOLE lots of boring, but jsut starting up again, i made a NICE profit selling about 100k of them at 20 each and using the rest to get my mage to 80. Gotta love airs.

(all f2p btw :P)

got from about 49-60 rc using the air company on world 16.. expensive but fast.

Im p2p but the xp i got on world 16 was faster and cheaper than the xp on world 66 (law craftin company).

Nope.

Fires and bodys are in ridiculous places.

Airs sell 15 each and with my lvl i 4x them.

I'm pretty sure Bodies are better experience than airs...

not really. they arent very close to a bank and they're almost completely useless

umm... body runes are excellent magic xp.. not useless at all!

Trained my pure from 3-60 mage using body runes..
