TheDecline
I was in the Al-Kharid mine, (I'm 3 combat) I was at those 3 iron rocks where you don't have to move and the scorpians weren't going after me since I was there for awhile. Then I get the Frog Random and I have to move to talk to the princess. Going 5 squares away made scorpians aggresive again. Then 10 minutes later I get evil chicken so I have to run out of mine. For like an hour I was doing fine, then dumb randoms made me move and get attacked again.

Pinkbullet3
That's great to hear. If your legs don't get any exercise, then they'll become stiff, and soon, you'll have a hard time walking or running. You should thank the scorpions, the frogs, and the evil chicken. ^ Blog.

Ralvn
that sucks. randoms can be frustrating at times (trust me i lost full rune and a d wc axe from a Mr. Hyde) but they are for the best. keeping autoers out

tefda
Like hell they stop autoers. Unfortunately you're somewhat correct. Random Events are used to stop Autoers when they are first released, but because the designers are resilient and thus bounce back with updates and new programs to avoid the events. As more and more random events come out I think Jagex tries to make these autoers think it's not worth cheating like this if they have to update their software running the risk of getting their account banned and their computer damaged by viruses from various shady sites they might go in search of programs. They said something similar to that when they did their first of several mass bannings. Jagex knows that an autoer can just make a brand new account and start anew, but they try to make that so much of a hassle for them that eventually they'll give up and play legit. I personally think that it works in many cases, but there are other times that it doesn't work and more autoers are created. It's a 50-50 chance of success I'd say.
