June 25, 200620 yr Just go to the Account Recovery section on the RS main page and go to the "Recover a lost Password" link. Follow the steps and you will get your account back. :wink: I've had to do it in the past. :)
June 25, 200620 yr First of all the person who took your account is probably one of your real life friends that play runescape. Try to remember if you ever told ANYONE your password or if you ever logged into your acc with somoene looking behind you. Other then that.. I would reccomend you take a break to cool down and then make a new character , sometimes those are more fun.

June 25, 200620 yr Firstly ignore some of these people on this thread, do NOT tell jagex your credit card number, it tells you not to on the account recovery page. Remember as many recovery questions as you can but don't worry if you can't, if you literally can't remember any then put a tick in the box saying you didn't set any. There is a section to write in extra comments, in this section include as many names off your friends list as you can remember, if possible starting with thei first that were added there. Also include apporximatly when you started the account and when you last logged in. Give details of your internet provider and tell them of any house moves/internet provider switches during your time of playing runescape. Tell then when you joined members and your payment method, even with credit cards you have to give an address so this could help. Tell them the last bank pin you used if you used one and any other passwords you may have used. Good luck.
