Does anyone take time to appreciate the music of RS? I don't know if this is weird or anything, but I actually enjoy some of the melodies better than others. Also, I'm wondering if anyone knows who composes all of the music -- it's really well-done (I do some composition for fun).

due to the scratchy sounf FX of runescape, the music can't really be appreciated as such, unless you turn the sound FX off. When i do, though, there are only a few songs that i really like, but these soon get boring.

Nobody composes them. Jagex digitally does it. If you've ever noticed, they have pretty much the same collection of sounds. A boom, a ting, a little rattle-shake, a slithering sound like the sea, etc. They just make them into different notes and chords. It's all the same jumble to me.

I think my iTunes library is good enough RS music for me.

Some of the tunes on Runescape aren't that bad but they have no melodies and just keep repeating themselves over and over. They do sound as if they're digitaly composed since if they weren't they'd have a melody.

I'm sure if you look at the full credit list on the RuneScape homepage, you'll find the guy responsible for the music.

oh and i like a couple really much: Tiptoe, Mudskipper,fanfare, gnome theme

i dont like any of them at all -but at least they treid and some people do like the music

Some of it's pretty good... F2P's songs are kinda limited, but a couple are well done.

 

 

 

That being said, I still like my iPod better \

The songs get stuck in your head, but not in an annoying way. I think they sound pretty cool.

there are a couple that i like, but usually i just turn all sounds off

I love some of the music on rs, Yanille has one of the best tunes, Magic Dance, and Shine is a very good one. My third pick would have to be TipToe.. So yeah I like the music in rs. :wink:
