I got my first dustie assignment right after I finished DT. But I had previously started it and given up during because of the damn chest you have to pick. So not really sure if you can get them without finishing.

I have seen it from another fansite that you only get aggismennts after completing quests that are required to get to them. I don't think it's like lvl3 clues, you don't have to burthorpe something you won't get. I can't confirm this however. But the fansite is a pretty good one. And it doesn't have many false info, so I trust it. Of course I trust Tip.It best of them all.

Anyway, please beer in mind you also need a facemask to kill them.

And don't get your hopes up. Slayer aggismennts are random, so burthorping and returning continously sure won't help anything.

Someone can get his first aggismennt at level50+ slayer 134 greater demons while another one can get aggismennt of 15 steel dragons. It's random. So don't get your hopes up.

From what I've read , you do not get Dust devils assignments when you didn't START desert treasure. This is from at the parts where you look at the mirrors. That would mean after you talked to the archeolist (SP?)

If you would get a Dust devils assignment before you have started Desert treasure. I reccomend retasking them in Burthope

Happy slaying

Well, as I've heard, the random event doesn't count as aggismennt. You can attack shades without even starting the quest. They're in Mort'on. And you only need to start Nature Spirit to get there.

Zombies and Shades aren't count as random events.

You get 1 exp about every 2 damage from random event, so why would it count?
