Er, my stats are a lot better than yours, and I've never won a fight in the wilderness. But then, I'm not a pker either.

 

 

 

To be successful in the wilderness takes a lot more than just good stats. The right combination of weapons, certain guile and knowing how to pick your victims. Stuff I don't have!

Its just becuase you are not good at PKing...

Likely because you are not picking the right people. Most likely you are a Warrior who goes out looking for Ancient Mages to fight... that's quite a death wish. Also perhaps you bring bad food. Use protection prayers and teleports if you are really desperate, but generally not reccomended.

I suppose it just takes experience, and some know-how. I wish you luck on your next Pking trip though. You should try to raise that Strength level a bit.. :)

Actually, Magic is the way to go. About 40% of the Wilderness are Warriors, so being a Mage does make quite a difference.

secondly whats your hp? the more hp you have the better off you will be.

 

remember most PKers have pure or hybrid accounts which are specificly made to give an advantage in the wild.

 

try taking mage (bind/snare and fire blast) and melee (include some dhide for fighting mages a dhide body is good and the vambraces are good armour anyways)

 

dont forget decent food (lobs/swordfish/sharks)

 

if your F2P take a str pot and if your P2P take some attk pots as well

 

prayer is good so use it (ultimate strength and accuracy-protect spells dont really work that great in PVP i find.)

And protection prayers work superb... why do you say they don't work well?

He is saying that the 15% increase spells don't work well, but they do.

 

Protect spells aren't quite as effective as against NPCs.

im not an expert on this wildy stuff, but if you get all your stats up to lvl99 i think you would do better? :-k
