meb
I am thieving lvl 33 and I'd like to train it to a higher lvl (53 and beyond)- I just haven't got a clue how. Is teh new quest good (with taht new HAM area), or should I steal natures from the nature chest? I'm always in need for farming seeds (sweetcorn and above) so perhaps I should try to thieve the seed stall? And do Master Farmers give good seeds when I reach 38? Help me please... Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. kwimbob
Always do NPCs for training, they're just so much faster. Do warrior women northwest of Adourgne for a while. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]
meb
Okay thanks, but shall I do teh new quest or not? It looks like fun and that new HAM area doesn't sound too bad... Sumpta
I haven't done the new quest yet myself, but I'd advise you to get as many quests done that give thieving XP, because thieving is a slow skill to get started with, but it gets real fast once you have a higher level. Once you reach thieving 38, go farmers all the way till you get 55. The great advantage of master farmers is that you don't have the right-click 'pickpocket farmer' hassle: you can just click the farmers. You'll end up with loads and loads of sweetcorn and other seeds to get you some nice farming xp. After that, things get real easy. Thieve knights and gems in the rogue's den and the occasional silver/spice/fur stall. Variation is your friend: you'll get the highest xp from thieving knights all the way, but you'll get a sore wrist in the progress. I have a "thieving round" in ardougne. Less xp, but I can do it for hours. I start out on the market, where I steal cakes and silver. Then I run to the castle, thieve paladins (and change to knights when I get frustrated with getting hit all the time). When I have 100 chaos from the paladins my food is usually gone, so I run upstairs, pick the locks, thieve the lvl 72 chests. They transport you to east ardougne, close to the bank, allowing you to store the goodies and go back to the market place for some more cakes. Rinse and repeat for good cash and decent xp (about 35k xp/hour and stuff worth 110k+/hour)
