Satenza
Because Dean does massive amounts of chests per trip. I've never activley followed either of Leester or Dean around at the Barrows although have3 seen them both there. Idk how mnay chests Leester can do or indeed his method. Last time i saw him there was along time ago in dragon and ahrims. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
slimysteve
I do what you do, sort of. However instead of crystal bow I use msb, this is because crystal bow will protect over guthan, so it is less expensive and way less risky with a msb. Also you should use karils, it is cheap and has a huge mage defence. If you can afford all of that, then you can afford karils. If you can also use dragon square, as it has no negative magic bonus as well as having a higher defence Nice guide :)
happy123
nice guide 8-) but unfortunatly the ring of life does not work at barrows i was equipting one and i died there  My Gallery :: Deviant Art ->Gallery :: Favourites :: ::My blog ::

Satenza
nice guide 8-) but unfortunatly the ring of life does not work at barrows i was equipting one and i died there  Thats because it doesn't work if your K.Oed. Say you are 80hp,ROL will tele you when you are 8hp or less. So if your hit anywhere which brings you down to 1- 8hp you get teled. nielsdek
nice guide 8-) but unfortunatly the ring of life does not work at barrows i was equipting one and i died there  then u got hit too much so ur hp didnt drop below 10% before u got killed. I was once at the airport with my friends in California, had to go "potty" really bad, and just pissed my pants in the middle of the terminal. (All the cool kids piss in their pants, right?)barrows loot: lost countdaga king loot: lost count :p
Im-A-Maniac
Whip Karil? Then just use full armour on the rest of them, cept ahrim of course... Dunno, that's what I do.
Satenza
For some reason i can't stand taking my whip there. Also it takes an inven space too, so your fine maging Karlis with a great mage bonus. :) With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Rebdragon
Decent guide, I've been using the free (No Prayer Pot) method too long -over 300 trips lol-, I need to try out the speed method  . For speed, do most Barrowers here just get no more than a 10KC for speed and foods sake, and just head back up and repeat? And do most speed Barrowers pray on all the brothers to save food that they want to last for 10+ chests? I'm such a noob at speed Barrowing :-# . Satenza
I kill creatures till i'm max hp. Usually get about 10KC don't worry about it too much. Lord Diddy
Very nice guide, and nice pictures just thinking, doesn't slayer dart not depend on mage +? if then why not subsitute ahrims with monks? more longer lasting prayer less doeses
Satenza
Slayer dart is affected by mage +Ahrims is mainly only for karlis. You can sub ahrims with a whip and att and str pots if you like to take him down faster. Which is what i tend too do now, and just mage in guthans and melee karlis. adon1
meh i think taken guthans is a bit of a waste if you really wanna do barrows with only taking 1 hit from each of the melee guys, ancient I support jerk173 going for 99fish and cook! Hows that. It saves about food, and if anything ancients is the waste. I dont see how anyone makes money from doing it there. I did it a few times for fun, and didn't make jack. bbalking
excellent guide there =D> BRAVO lol but it seems that this is basically just an alternative to having to use ancients at barrows allowing for slayer dart  anyways a very useful alternative nevertheless
Tornado556
Nice guide, now I have found a new tactic to use at barrows. Thanks. Goals:85/91 Runecrafting119k/183k Nature Runes0/11 Fury Amulets
Killinator
i use guthans and ainchents... do a l0t of runs for the time i spend at barrows and i barely have to pray (only on dharok and ahrim) my friend has 96 mage from barrows, he uses one dose a trip from this method, and doesnt even pray on dharok =D> (barrage holds for 7 hits, enough to knock him out with that high mage with ice burst) but yeah i havent had much time to do barrows and have gotten junk recently (ahrim staff and ahrim top in about 160 trips) mabey its because i own the brothers so much they dont wanna gimmeie thier stuff
