Is scamming a scammer a solution?

Featured Replies

If someone said "Free Armour Trimming" and I'd trade him rune platebody and then after he presses accept I change without notice to a steel platebody?

Could I be banned for that?

yes, and if you do so i hope you are. just report the damn scammer and announce to the crowd what he is doing

Back by popular demand!

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

Are you sure it's a solution? I have to be very sure.

nope, i doubt you would get banned for that

within the 60secs, if they report you, Jagex will see that they tried to scam first.

im saying that it is not a soloution. scamming a scammer is like stealing from a theif. while it is an eye for an eye, it is still wrong

Then you shouldn't have said yes. :shame:

the question was 'could i be banned for that'. and so the response was accurate

You should have quoted that then. Please try to tell exactly what you're talking about next time you answer.

If you answer random question in the topic please quote it. I was very confused.

well,if you replace a rune pl8 with a steel pl8,then you would lose the steel pl8,and gain nothing, and basically just get a scammers hopes down.in other words, you're not even scamming.

I wouldn't reccommend scamming a scammer at since there is a slight chance you will get punished.

why go to all the bother of trading them just report them and continue what you were doing :?

What he said ^^

Two wrongs don't make a right. Jagex will ban both you and the scammer.

Offline and unavailable.

thats only slightly less stupid than falling for the original scam, whats the point? you will just lose a steel plate instead of rune

then u get in trouble for scamming aswell

i think jagex would ban both of you or give a black mark

anyway treat people as you wish to be treated (im saying that alot these days..people think revenge is always the answer)

so the 1 word answer is......NO

You're not really scamming him...he's getting a steel plate, your getting nothing. You're not scamming at all.
