I really just got into photography about a week ago, and I've been practicing takes wildlife pictures. I use my dad's old Canon AE-1P film camera, but I'm asking for either a Nikon D-50 or D-70s for by b-day/x-mas. Well I tracked down the squirrel to get another pic... and I found this:

 

Very Nice Photos but seriously - Go for the D70s - Not the D50. If you upgrade and you had the D50 you'll have to buy different memory cards since it takes SD and not Compact Flash. Remember that the Canon EOS-20D is a very good camera for the money.

Thanks :D .The problem is that my parents don't want to get me a real expensive camera for my first camera. And seeming as how eventually i would want to upgrade to the D70s or another Nikon, if I got the D50 I could buy more lenses and not have to worry about. I really don't think that the memory card thing would really play that much trouble because I would probaly buy my camera on ebay, where most cameras come in bundles including memory sticks. And I really doubt I would need anything more than a gig. If I go with a canon, the only cheap canons, are REALLY cheap and not the best quality. So i dunno.

back in the day it was expensive, since it was the first camera with a "computer" but now a days its only worth like 50-100 bucks, but maybe in a few years it could be collectors item :XD:

Haha ya I love doing photography like this, but unfortunately i still have a film SLR :(
