What's the best item to merchant in F2P??

 

 

 

Right now I'm buying ores and smelting steel bars, but what do I do to make more??? I'm working for 17 mil and this seems like I'm never gonna get there. I'm talking like 100k-200k an hour. MAYBE MORE??!?!?!

I think, it's possible to buy willows in W1 or W3 - varrock and sell on Forums or those worlds in Draynor for atleast 10gps higher than the price in Varrock, however I'm not exacly sure ^^

It's worth a try. I always have seen people buying or selling willows in Varrock at around 20-30gps each. It is common for forum buyers to occasionally buy around 35 or 40. I even saw 50 today and managed to hit my head on my desk when I saw him close the post before he sold :x.

i merchant rares, am f2p as well, and get well over 3M per day.

by making honest money first. lol. by doing it the way ur doin it. its the fastest way. there really isnt anything to merchant cept rares. cuz its easy to buy them low and sell them high.

Yikes that's hard to do on F2P. Hmmm... :-k My main money maker is Woodcutting and Runecraft. Maybe you could make F2P runes or cut yews to sell...

Actually, yews aren't a great money-maker at the current moment. I think willows are faster ;)

there isn't a fast way to make money....even if you buy logs or any item low and sell high you will only be making like 20k-50k each 1k

 

 

 

the only way to make quick money is to merchant rares....buy something like 17 mil and sell it 17.2 mil 8-)

btw merchanting rares ain't quick since you have to find a buyer and that takes hours and most of the time your wasting time standing around and that time you could have used to collect something like 500 yews

 

 

 

500 yews x 250 a piece = 125k an hour

Yes it may be 20k per 1k willows, but I can get 20k willows in 5 minutes.

 

 

 

This gives me a 400k profit after like a half an hour (after I sell them all).

the old saying, "it takes money to make money" is true here. It takes a good 11 mil or so to start merching rares now, as the cheapest one (easter eggs) cost that much now. I'm not how much money you have left after the incident, but it takes at least 10-20k just to start merching, and at least 100k to make a good profit. You could mine coal and mith in the guild pretty quickly and sell that for a high price. I dont think you can easily make a profit from smelting mith. Your runecrafting lvl isnt good enough to make much money in f2p. You could probably make more money by running airs (in world 16). your magic lvl is ok, so you could telegrab a bunch(100 or more) of zammy wines and sell 1k each. It takes money to buy laws though(300 ea if you're lucky :P ).

 

 

 

The best merchanting advice i can give you, if you have enough money, is that stores usually sell cheaper than players. You can usually buy willows in fally gen store for 12 ea, then resell for 35 ea once you have over 2k. I think oaks make a better profit, not sure though. Either way, this is faster than cutting the logs yourself. Or you could buy eyes of newt at the port sarim magic store and resell 60 ea, but it's far from a bank. Stackable items are usually easier to get, since you dont need to run to a bank when you get a full load. Low level runes used to be good, but not since the pure ess update. Arrows are the way to go. All stores get reset after game updates, so that's a good time to buy bronze and iron arrows at the varrok arrow store. Addy arrows can be bought in the rimmington arrow store for a good price (dont buy for over 110 ea, keep world hopping) and resold in varrok world 1/3 for 150-200 ea.
