Since you are making a Skate/Graphics layout maybe put in some pictures of ppl skating on the banners :D i think it would be alot more sofiticated than if youd just put up some random gfx and no skate theme :)

btw crate, i made some gel button thingys, but i found that the normal kind didn't realy fit in with what i was thinking, so i aplied the style of them to the menu's ect. :) and i think it turned out nice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i also took other people's advice and made it take up more space. the 2 bottom box's are blank cuz i dunno what to do for them yet :P

Too much drop shadows on those content boxes... They are about to slap me in the face if I get too close... No offense, but the pixel/retro thing doesn't fit the space theme well, the way you are doing it anyway. Those pixel fonts are also way to big... usually the point of pixel is to keep it small and clean... they are all big [wagon] and ugly... try maybe a different font...? Dunno, just some suggestions. Keep trying, you'll get it.

boxes inside boxes inside boxes with various stages of drop shadow or bevel sort of effect. Seems a bit too heavy for my taste.

Html works for buttons.

My fav so far is Version 3, but if it had Version 1's banner would be better, i really like the spacey theme, and if that was continued some how throughout the website...
