I know one ore cost 10k+ but there is only one spot in deep wildy full of pkers and other miners do you rune miners make alot of money mining rune? it takes me like 5 minutes to mine 10 addy ores......does that take longer then getting one rune ore? tortilliachp Posted July 26, 2006 Share Posted July 26, 2006 persoanlly, if you mine iron or coal to get you the remaining 2m xp, i think you might be able to earn quite a bit while worldswapping. Making profit to get there is what i'd worry about so that you don't waste weeks throwing away iron that you could easily bank and sell... some ppl only want the fastest xp though... i'd recomend a mine with 3 iron rocks that isn't al kahid as it's usually full on f2p. I need like 2 mil exp to reach 85 mining As a lv 84 miner here are my 2 cents: I got pked just looking at the rune ores while I was lv 83. Was bored so I wanted to check out the rune ores. Also tele doesn't work pass lv 20 wild i believe. I would advise u not to only just mine addy. Usually there are other ores like coal and mith around so mine them as well. If that's the case I would also suggest you to use superheat (lv 43 magic) to make bars while mining. This will allow u to mine longer before u have to bank and it will save u time going to the furnace. It can be costly but you are saving valuable time by superheating. Also don't look at it as 2 mill xp for lv 85. Just look towards the xp for the next lv. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Faster than mining it urself. And like 10k or something per ore, why wouldn't you pk a rune miner? I suggest getting higher level or taking a group of friends to help out. Definitely high def. I have level 85 mining and I don't bother with runite ore much. Between PKer's chasing you and empty rune rocks it isn't, IMHO, much fun to do. it takes me like 5 minutes to mine 10 addy ores...... does that take longer then getting one rune ore? Mining Runite is faster than Addy. It's about as fast as Mith ore. I need like 2 mil exp to reach 85 mining I got 85 using the 3 iron rocks on the NW wall of the Al-kharid scorp mine. For steady money you could mine Addy ore and sell for about 1k each. Or, make Addy bars and sell for about 2k each. Addy rocks are almost always available and easier to mine. pro28 Posted July 26, 2006 Share Posted July 26, 2006 The Runite rocks are kind of abandoned right now, I check on different worlds every now and then to look for lvl 3 pure miners to kill with my mage pure.
