My worst P2p day to date!!!

I first would like to say that this is no way me begging for free stuff. I earn everything I need. So do not flame. Im just venting.

 

 

 

It started 3 months ago when I got members and started saving for a whip. I had saved 2.3mil and was almost there. Thats when my friend offered me a deal of a life time give him my 2.3mil to buy pure ess so he can make nats and he will give me back 3mil in a day or so. Lets just say he never talked to me again. Did I quit , no I picked myself up and dusted off and in a few weeks had the money for a whip and obby set.

 

 

 

Now I thought this was the worst thing that could ever happen, until tonight. Some how in the span of 1 hour I manged to lose my entire armor set toaling almost 4mil.

 

 

 

The first was when I lagged down in the new stronghold as I ran out of food and saw 8 7 8 and i was dead. Went back down and asked the gentleman in the room if I could have my stuff back and was replied with give me whip noob and you can have it. Need less to say after the young man went through all of the versions of noob I know I walked away Head down. Went to world 2 to get my stuff back.

 

 

 

What happens next, " hey you look strong..." I knew right away it was the whip scam. So i loaded up food and such to make a couple 100k back by getting those tops and teleing. What happens next was just my luck for the night. LAGG :wall:

 

 

 

So now I stand in Lumby a noob who was 1/4 of the way to Guthans with almost nothing. I have about 2 mil cash and another mil in goods I still need to sell. But I will get it all back.

 

 

 

The point of this story is mainly to voice the concern I here over and over about the RS community. It has changed and I as a 24 year old adult am really starting to grow weary of all the dishonest kids. I am reaching out looking for some people to join me as friends and companions on my crawl back up the ladder.

If anyone would like to share some money making tips or just words of encouragement for my climb they would be greatly appreciated. Other than that to anyone that actually read this god awfully long piece thank you. I needed to vent and also introduce my self formally to the tip. it forums. from your mining and smithing stats you should just make steel plates and alch them or sell steel bars for a quick mil

I'm glad though that you have a clear head on the situation. Most people would have just quit Runescape all together right then and there, but you have not. Surprising to say, it is hard to find a quality like that in most Runescape players these days.

Yes it is my fault for going into wildy. But after losing alot earlier in the night the thought of 4 mystic tops was to much to turn down. If it wasn't for lag I would have been fine.

If you or anyone else wants to find good people to enjoy the game with just look around at some of the clans that have adults in them. There are many out there but most will require someone from within recommending you to be a member. Phoenix Fyre is one that comes to mind and The Balance is for the 30+ age players, Nexus is a junior clan to The Balance but again most of these clans require you to already know a member. But that is easy enough, just go to an event and get to know some of the people.

 

 

 

I personally like the skill based clans because the PK scene is just to chaotic for my style of preferred play.

Add dark_D10, always looking for an extra person to talk to. Your determination inspires me (I got scammed out of my first mill but kept on going). Just keep on going and remember this is a game. It is very unlucky how lag kicked in all wrong places. If you have a laggy comp, I would stick to safer activites.

I saw someone with the whip and mystic top scam today so i played along, in the meantime getting my brother to log in and get his trusty telekenitc grab ready, we go out he says his stuff, bam i see some mystic tops and say to my brother, "now!". Unfortunatly the screen tilted the wrong way and he missed it, but we still discussed with him(The scammer) how, er pathetic he was.

 

 

 

And i know about the attitude of some of the rs players these days, it is quite pathetic at times. I TRY to treat those people with respect in the game and what i get back is... well we all know. Oh well, in the end i just laugh at them, how they are slaves after pixels, and how they hide their pathetic little selves behind a character. Though there are still many respectable, quite a few of which you can find on these forums, players.

 

 

 

And im also sorry to hear about all your losses, it is quite an unfortunate course of events but thats the way it goes, we have, most of us, had our bad days aswell, be it the common 2 year old flammer that makes absoloutly no sense in his arguments, or falling to a scam, or dying or whatever else can go wrong in this game.

 

 

 

And i hope you get your stuff back, you seem like a very determined person, you should have it back in no time, and hopefully even more. :)

Well as for what I lost I didnt actually fully total it but here we go,

 

Dieing: Rune full helm, DDS, Glory, Obby Cape and shield, ROW, Rune boots, 100 bloods, 70 deaths, 40 addy arrows. Plus some other junk that ankous drop.

 

 

 

Scammed lost full red d hide, and whip. (wore the d hide incase he had a ancients friend try to barrage me.)

 

 

 

So if anyone wants to ballpark the value better thats cool. Just remember also was scammed outta 2.3 mil a few weeks earlier by a friend. So I have lost alot of money since I got members about 3 months ago.

 

 

 

Also as for my comp its not usually laggy. I mean it is using wireless internet and is a laptop but never been as laggy as it was last night. This just seems to have been my luck lately, actually just got my comp back, broken cell phone and car broke down the other day. Think someones trying to tell me something just not sure what.

I did not refer to all kids as dishonest, just a majority in the game today. Suprisingly tip.it has many younger members who are very respectful and well spoken. Of course I am referring in the post to the influx of youth from miniclip. Those are most of the "problem" im sure you know what I mean.
