In a way, since you already knew how to make the money it probably doesnt hit that hard. I was first scammed out of all my measly possessions as a lowly lvl 3 just out of tutorial island with no idea of what I sould be doing (over 2 years back). I have since begun to think of it as a blessing in disguise as it kept me from falling for any scam afterwards even though it completely eroded my trust in the RS community. That also prompted me to use the tip it forums as a way to learn the game and not need to ask for help from anyone. Once you train your skills to a decently high level (60+), you will find that making money is not so hard at all. To do so while raising skills is the best way in my opinion. Good luck in your RS travels. # 1101 to 99 range on 12-18-0585 slayer on 12-18-05 with combat at 102; retired from members since Feb 06.Back since June 07. 2000+ total. It has changed and I as a 24 year old adult am really starting to grow weary of all the dishonest kids. I am reaching out looking for some people to join me as friends and companions on my crawl back up the ladder. I got done with a busy day at the abyss (28 to 47 rc in 2 days ftw) and decided to do some castle wars. I withdrew my whip, dds, the stuff for ice burst, my splitbark and mystics, then dropped the bronze pick I had been using at the abyss. At least that's what I thought. After entering the game and dd spec'ing some people, I went to equip my whip and saw a bronze pickaxe there. Uh oh is right. I found the guy who found my whip on the ground, a level 48. He even messed with me, saying he felt bad and wanted to give like 1mil back. He didn't. Oh well, here I am three days later with a whip and working towards full infinity.
