So I do heroes and see there is a 111 Ice queen to fight, over gloves. So I decide maging and ask for safespots.

im not really sure about safespots, but run behind the throne before fighting the ice queen, so that the ice warriors wont attack you too. as that place is multi-combat.

Well, I read in a guide about safespots and all that malarky, but I was meleeing and not sure how things were gonna go, so I had a teleport handy and ring of life in case I didn't realise I was dying. Then, before entering the actual chamber, I put run on, and clicked as far back in the cave as I could, on the west side of the throne. Luckily, there was some stuff round like on the floor, and so there was a space of 1 space, the queen herself then made a safespot for me, because no knights could get past to attack me. If you're really worried and have 43 prayer, just take a few prayer pots and a tele, and use protect from melee. I unfortunately died with my ice gloves like a sucker recently, so I'll confirm all this when I eventually get round to going back to get them.

i have yet to do heroes and so i havent faced the ice queen yet otherwise i would try and offer some good advice.

I'm not kicking the supposeably "royal" wagon used to carry this enchanted lump of ice around, no not yet.

 

 

 

I'm waiting in the tunnels and say this ice maze map is in need of replacement.

 

I note the red ladder is actually a trapdoor out behind the actual entrance fork, one way to the surface and made me mad. MAAD!!!

 

 

 

The red ladder also has no rockslide requiring 50 mining. The 1st fork has the 50 mining roadblock.

(red currently) need to be brown. As in the clocest yellow ladder with no black space inbetween, practically logical.

 

 

 

3rd yellow is the actual red.

So, I did what I said I was gonna and went back. Indeed the tip.it map is wrong to an extent, has been for a while but it's easy to figure it out. I'm stocking up on gloves(ignore the cannon, i decided not to use it), and took some pictures of places I managed to whip her without her royal guard interfering, I took my ddp too because I can get 8 quick attacks out of it with the special, and a poison sometimes. I didn't take a pic of the first spot I used, which is possibly the one I was thinking of, but I did take one at the end(lacking ice queen), it seems that it is out of the ice warrior's range, but not the queen's. Basically, just as much to the north of the cavern as you can first(behind the throne), out of everyone's range, work out where the queen is, and how you're gonna go about things.

EdIT: Being as I'm still there, I've just found there is a safe spot too, behind the throne sort of. Firstly, you'll need to lure the queen to behind the throne, and then run up to the part of the wall that is furthest north, she's limited to two spaces off that.

Since it is multi-combat, try to get a high level friend to come with you. They can help damage the Queen for you and they can grab your stuff in case you die.

Danton, I personally think my melee is not a help. I'd proably hit Lots of 0, and maging I can hit 6-11. I Beleive this is not a good option as "Tonight" is very vague seeing as though I do not reside in the USA.

I did it at 65 combat and with around your stats, with NO protect from melee prayer. A load of lobbies or swordies should help you a long the way. I don't know why your having so much trouble with her. :?

If you dont have melee protect, get it. It helps with almost all quest that need a boss fight. She is incredibly easy w/ prayer. I just bought full monk, glory, and a dds on her. Only wasted 1/2 my prayer, and shes down(prayer level 43). Fun? 100% Hard? None with 43+ prayer

I will get extra bored trying to do that, And I quite frankly have no Riches to buy heaps of bones. Sorry, I'm not anti-melee praying.

you'd kill her faster without the rune armor on (it lowers your mage attack bonus)

 

 

 

and less time spent there means less time worrying about the ice warriors :D

It is fine. I missed about 2x, with gnome wizard hat and addy kite. I need safe spots, and I do NOT have the stupid money to do that. No No No. I can't afford fine cloth and skeletal. Besides I couldn't wear it. I need answers to the questions soon or I'm gonna go mad!

why dont u melee? i was lvl 53 when i finshed the heros quest i had full addy a rune smitty and a full inventory of swordies and killed ice queen

I don't have 28 spaces of swordfish. I keep 10 spaces of lobsters.
