Yauguru
Would it be fesable to have a RuneScape convention? yes? why? no? why? stupid idea? why?
Ragen
I think it is possible. They might try to do what Nintendo did and give special stuff to those who went there. I doubt it would get a good turn out but you never know. Hopefully, only the more mature RS players would come along, having 1000 12 year olds in a hall wouldn't be very fun for the rest of us (no offense all you twelve year olds :D ). I think it would be good to meet up with a few people you knew from RS in a safe environment. Personally I'd only go if it happened no more than a bus ride away. Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!

reanimationk
If there were a convention maybe they could give out an special non-tradable item that you can only get if you go there. Now I'm not saying she's a golddigger, but she ain't messing with no broke skiller.
D. V. Devnull
If there were a convention maybe they could give out an special non-tradable item that you can only get if you go there. Keep in mind, they would also have to give you a way to get it again if you had to destroy it for any reason. and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)

The main problem is, America is very big, and there are players lightly scattered around the world outside UK and US. 00 Quanta
i wouldn't come, one reason is every comp would probably have a keylogger in them
Yauguru
I am not sure about the keyloggers, given that jagex ran this convention. About the code to get the item, it would be cool if a number was assigned to your character only, that way no one would be able to use it.
Tastefaker
The convention wouldn't be held in the US. Jagex is an ENGLISH company. I'd go if it wasn't far away. So somewhere in the north of England lol. And free, special, non tradable items would also help me decide to go I've been walking, in my sleepCan you give me what I need?BlueResent, was known as Goddess Bast from 2001-2009 This isn't entirely accurate, I've not got any level 1 skills

TheLeader
I think your very very wrong! ENGLISH company. Jagex hosted on a .com address to be universal. There is not one single employee in america of jagex. They are hardly going to transport 50% of their employees just so 15% of players can have a free bunch of pixels. Sorry to spoil your fun. It's an english company, i used to live like 5 miles away from cambridge. Merry Crimbo!Click on my signature to see my NEW blog! godsfearme
I think it would be a bad idea. The marjorty of people going has to been over 20.There i not much they can talk about. So i would end up being people just sitting around and playing on the coumpter. IF jagax hooked up and made a booth in anther gaming convention it would be better. I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm! What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-
dargonhuman
It'd be a waste of time and money to organize an enetire con based solely on RS, but including RS as part of another con would be interesting. Of course there'd have to be some additional incentive to get RS players to come; while a special con item would be nice, I'd like to see some real life replicas of certain RS items. Plastic or foam Rune Scims, Silverlights and Dragon Daggers would be funny. Imagine seeing conventioneers running around with Party Hats and Halloween Masks yelling "PeeHat, three point five million! Press five-five-five...no, wait...hold up your hand to buy!" Okay, that's probably a bad idea, but replica weapons would be neat to get people out. And, they'd be the first RS items you could legally buy and sell on eBay! Part of the Star Traks network. (^^Clicky!) Irony: An amnesiac rediscovering they have an eidetic memory. Auberean
I don't see how a convention like this could be profitable for JaGeX. A mind not to be changed by place or time. The mind is its own place, and in itselfCan make a heav'n of hell, a hell of heav'n.
