August 1, 200619 yr Its very fast and you use it by lighting the 2 incense burners with 2 marrentils then use your bones on the altar :P You need the incense burners or higher for the best prayer xp.

August 2, 200619 yr The burners burn out after about a minute or two. And you can use a friends altar. If you leave the house, usually you get the long pause at it the "loading" No-place-like-home screen comes up, and everything is reset. Doors are closed, things dropped are gone, and burners are out. If you come back fast enough, (Really fast though. Tele to Edge, grab bones, click house tele tab.) sometimes it doesn't reset, the "loading" screen pops you right in, and all the doors are still open, and the burners are still lit. August 2, 200619 yr Speed-wise, it's a lot faster. Exp wise, Ectofunctus is still greater. August 2, 200619 yr For the record, you do not need to have the most expensive incense burners to get the 100% prayer boost (on top of the altar's base prayer boost). Torches and Candle lights don't boost at all, but any of the three kinds of incense burner (mahogany or whatever) are fine. Be sure to light both of them, though - one burner gives only a 50% bonus. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
