alien_slof
a quote from a letter i recieved after ranting a bit at customer support. Thank you for contacting RuneScape Customer Support about these problems. Let me start be assuring you that this isn't an automated reply. We also strive to make sure that we answer all our queries personally but sometimes the backlog is so much that we have to make use of semi-automated queries. we appologise for this but you will find from now on that all of our queries will be a personal reply to your problems. Thanks. Yours Sincerely Mod Jolley so they are now finally only giving out non automated replys?

Dexek
Before they would only check out certain reports personally, and others would be automated. It would save them time. I suppose they are no longer short of staff? :? I suppose they are no longer short of staff? :? Jagex has been hiring a lot lately. Also They have toured Schools in the Past primarily for hiring purposes. Off-topic: After looking over Craven's old post about that I think we aught to have some sort of Runescape Weblog of the happenings behind the scenes and the intricacies of the Jagex workplace. Basically the Nintendo Power for Runescape.

alien_slof
actually that cannot have been an auto reply telling us we do not hacve auto replys because that was not the whole message, the whole message was Dear Alien Slof, Thank you for contacting RuneScape Customer Support about these problems. Let me start be assuring you that this isn't an automated reply. We don't hate punctuation and we realise that sometimes our chat filter may censor words that aren't offensive but we're sure that you can see why we have the chat filter in place. We are always updating our chat filter and hopefully will remove these problems in the future. We also strive to make sure that we answer all our queries personally but sometimes the backlog is so much that we have to make use of semi-automated queries. we appologise for this but you will find from now on that all of our queries will be a personal reply to your problems. Thanks. Yours Sincerely Mod Jolley i had sent in a letter about punctuation and said "do you hate punctuation?" and they have put in their reply "we do not hate punctuation" so it cannot have been an auto reply, just wanted to clear that up :)

stingkid
you state a genuine point... but i just couldn't quite understand how the person was servicing in anyway at all... really all they say anyway is: sorry about that thing that happened we'll "look into it" *wink, wink* but that's i guess what automates do too anyway...
