Range question

Featured Replies

Hi

When you get higher up in range lvls, does that increase the damage you inflict or just give you better accuracy?

Many thanks

ithink its both but more to do with acuracy i think its the ammo that determins a large part of the damage

only 2 skills below level 50 :)

i think range skill only increases your chances to hit, damage depends on what kind of arrow/knife/bolt you use

Life is random... so am I!

Both, although damage dosent incerease significantly, like 1 every few levels.

92/99 Fishing | 119/120 Combat | 92/99 Firemaking | 94/99 Fletching | 1878/1900 Total | 85/85 Slayer | 80/80 Prayer

It does both, that's why range is quite powerful at mid levels (in terms of combat).

Thanks guys :D

the damage you inflict or just give you better accuracy?

Your max hit with range does go up with your range level.

For example, with Addy arrows the max hit is about

AddyMaxHit = floor( (RangeLevel + 16)/7 )

You can look at the Tip It Range Damage Table to

see how arrow type and Range level influence your max hit.

Hope this helps
