With the current amount of zillionaires in RS, and the willingness to buy items to level skills, my thoughts are why not allow F2Pers to gather more herb secondaries, construction materials... etc. My main reason for this line of thinking is because of the huge imbalance of money on P2p vs F2P. In my opinion, RS would be a better place if there was a bit more $ available on free servers. I know that Jagex obviously wants lots of incentive for everybody to become members- but in actuality this could help members out in regards to faster leveling. Unfortunately for free players- they will get zero exp for most of this, but a lot of these items are spawns or low monster drops, making this a money making opportunity for lower lvl players as well. For example- let F2P players make planks- I can understand that Jagex would not want them to do anything with them- but it could be a good money maker- maybe throw a few teaks & mahoganies on karamja in the free area. Another thing that might be nice is molten glass- although this does give a small amount of crafting exp it is quite small- and it is another item that P2Pers could be willing to pay for. Since free players can already get choc dust, red spiders eggs, limps and wine of zammy, why not also snape grass, or unicorn horns (blue drag scale, mort myre fungus, white berries and potaote cactus would be awesome- but most likely impossible due to the fact they are only available in specific P2P areas) Also- let lvl 2 men, Al Kharid guards drop herb secondaries also- it probably would not make that much of a difference. Also- what about opening up the edgeville wildy dungeon, allowing the chaos druids to be F2P but dropping no herbs? What about allowing F2Pers to have Green Drags in wildy? That would provide more money to free player- but most likely just the pkers- lol but the prices of drag bones and hides would be a huge boost to the F2P economy. I also dont see how it would hurt members if f2pers got fletching up to maples. It would probably make more people want to be members to have full acess to fletching. thxs vibro for the sig ^_^. O.o That's almost 900000 big bones and near 400000000gp to buy from players to max prayer) I would like to see a few more crossbows on f2p, but not the enchanted bolts, and it would be a lot better if the f2p monsters had some better drops. We don't need many more popular gathering features, because it may attract more macroers, something that the game does not need. The limits seem to be fine at the moment. After all, we f2p players are playing for free. ~10 out of 10 cows agree. The greatest Runescape addition was the rubber chicken. ~Today, we watch Runescape's grass grow. Anyways, I don't think this post will ever be read by jagex if there are not hundreds or thousands of supporters and some member posts this on the forums. On-topic, i'd semi-support this, but I would give F2P's less than you said. Maybe herbs are a good idea, but the other things are a lil'bit too much. clukacluka Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 I think the herbs are to much and we should just be abble to fletch because whats the piont of having herbs if we cant use them and out of the 1500 people in a world only about 5 are members but fletching is something we could use not only to make money but to save it. F2p were stocking up on essence and selling it to p2p for good money, and there was the whole autoer thing but Jagex wants p2p people to get their own stuff. I just completed dragon slayer and really want to fight anthor dragon, and prayer is just way to hard to level with the max exp being 15. Daeva_god Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 i would say let us fletch arrows up to steel. mage we can craft basic ones. melee we get up to rune but rangfe is a skill where you HAVE to buy the arrows. not too bothered about fletching bows. maybe up to willow... i would give f2p rof's (ring of forging). coal is hard to come by for f2pers with minig <60 and it would probably help p2p economy from selling the rof's and buying our iron. i wouldnt want us to enchant em. just for em to be used on f2p worlds. all otjher skills im ok with i thikn... let fire spin and parafin burn. ill call it fun. http://www.domorepoi.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But there def should b somethings, like unicorn horn! we have unicorns and i can see there horns, but wot does it drop bones! nothing but bones! maybe more stuff, but not drag bones. However i dont think we need anything else. If you want member stuff go to members. It's as simple as that. And if you dont have access to members then just make the best of f2p. I was a member before, but I got hacked..ya ya ya, anyway I just want to get my fletching up higher because i didnt cut 2k willows and 5.5k oak for nothing.
