Well, I'm merchanting untill I have enough for whip, rune and all that good stuff, including the mystic, the runes, blah blah blah. :D

I just started it yesterday....

 

Done all the easy no combat bits so far.... but does anyone know about staffs against Fareed ??? Tip.It's guide says they don't work, but htotheh's guide on this forum says that :

 

 

 

"Ice gloves if you want to be able to equip staff or another kind of weapon.

 

 

 

Anyone know the answer ?

Damis - easiest

 

Fareed - Easy

 

Desseous - Annoying

 

Kamil - easy

Well. I'm doing Desert Treasure now (need help go on H&A to help me out)

 

 

 

I was just wondering what was the hardest person to kill and what'd ya use?

 

 

 

Currently: I was killing Dousses and was almost PWNED I used protect from mage.

 

 

 

Kashi helped me a ton by giving me all kind of pots, armor, robes, and blocked Fareed and Damis. I died twice on this quest, to Fareed, because I didn't know which prayer to use, and I got 2-hitted with melee. #-o

 

 

 

I died to the Ice trolls, but I killed Kamil fairly hard.

 

 

 

And for Damis, using a blocker will help a lot more. I used only a full prayer, no potions whatsoever.

Fareed - easiest

 

Dessous - easy

 

kamil - easy

 

Damis - Hard

 

Trolls and ice wolves - Hardest

 

And i did it at level 73

Actually...I forgot my Ice gloves, but I kept running around maging him. Then Kashi Blocked.

Erm.. the tip.it guide does say you can weild staffs - if you have ice gloves.

 

I maged him without a staff as i hadn't done heros yet, and it was easy.

I did Desert Treasure the other day (combat lvl 100). I didn't die at all, but Damis was pretty dam hard! I melleed the whole lot, so thats probably why I found it tough going!

 

 

 

Tip: When doing Damis, turn auto-retaliate OFF! Otherwise when you pot up or eat food, you start attacking the skeletons again.

 

 

 

Good luck, I'm off to H&A to give you any other advice you might need.

I now know why Fareed is easy... very easy even......

 

 

 

He hit a 34 just before I turned prayer on... but i ended up not needing a single dose of prayer potion..... in fact I only used up 14 prayer points (I Water blasted him).

 

 

 

I used full ghostly except no hood cause of facemask and no gloves cause of ice gloves...

 

 

 

Also done Dessous... the bats were harsh !

 

 

 

Done Damis too... annoying with having to pot all the time...

 

 

 

So just Kamil left for me !

The fire guy killed me :oops:

 

 

 

I had mage pray on. :P So he hit me for a 37. I was out of food and he was nearly dead.. and then he hit the final 16.

 

 

 

The ice guy was hardest though.

You need gloves to wield ANY weapon. You don't need gloves to attack with magic/hands/foots though:)

It's odd reading the topic and seeing so many people find Damis easy. I spend most of my RS time in his cave, and 90% of people who don't listen to me die a horrible death.

 

 

 

The other day I had just finished helping a couple of people kill him, then ran south going back to my training spot and someone else had died there.... Obby cape, glory, DDS, Rune Kite... never got a name.

Only 87 combat :|

Shadow-Hardest IMO...died twice.

 

 

 

Ice-Easy...I used 4 sharks and maybe 2 restore pots

 

 

 

Blood-Kinda easy...just use melee protect and use sharks. Eat one after every 2 times he does bats.

 

 

 

Smoke- Melee protect and hit...very easy.

kamil and dessous are about even for me but easily beatable, in the pyramid the trick is dont stand still, keep run on and keep moviong at all times and you shouldnt fall once.
