Fur Armor

Featured Replies

Hey, I was thinkin the other day...Why doesn't jagex have a real use for stuff like fur? So i came up with an idea...Fur armor.

Fur armor would be considered range armor, and between leather and snakeskin in rank (an update for the newbies out there).

Here is how you would make the armor:

take a bear or wolf pelt of fur

have a bolt of silk, along with a needle and thread

stitch the silk to the fur

And there you have it.

What is the point of me sayin this suggestion? Well, for one, the little guys need updates too. Plus, it finally provides a use for fur and silk.

Actually, I like this idea.

I'd support it for F2P, too.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.

Good idea, I imagine something like that would come in handy for the day they finally open the rest of the icelands to the north (At least I think there are more icelands for them to open).

Who knows, maybe they're already planning something like that.

If you dont take steps to ensure that you're protected, you void all right to complain when stuff goes wrong.

yer i agree with them, this could be a great idea, and Barek in varrock could come into play, other than selling grey wolf furs fer 120 a piece..

This could be awsome.

We need alot more mage armour that f2p can use. I support this idea.

Good idea, it would be part of crafting right? Crafting needs an update, it's one of the worst skills IMO. Like someone said, it could be used in cold places like desert robes are in the desert...

I support this idea as well - for p2p.

I agree with this idea, i don't see why Jagex don't make a few things like this, it makes the new players want to play more.. gaining them money to then update for us old members :)

This seems like a good idea from the up north point of view, but there isnt any room from a crafting level perspective: at 44 you can make studded chaps, and at 45 you can make snakeskin boots

Where would fur come into it?

It would be kind of difficult to make though, considering you need to buy it one at a time

Perhaps jagex could make multiple kinds of furs, from different animals or something

At the moment furs are kind of useless, so yeah, good suggestion :D

Heh...do you play oblivion? :P

...who are you asking? (besides which you should try to keep it in the off-topic section)

I support, and i am an oblivion player (just to add)
