Well construction is my favourite skill, and i was thinking, what if we had some updates to it?

 

 

 

First - NO ROOM LIMIT

 

 

 

This would help us all to have 1 of every room, 2 bedrooms, and a DECENT sized dungeon with it. It would also help the other ideas i have.

 

 

 

Second - Bank Rooms

 

 

 

The bank room could contain hotspots for bank booths. That way you could bank in your house.

 

 

 

Third - Skill Rooms

 

 

 

No, i dont mean quest halls. I mean skill rooms. Rooms that help raise some skills.

 

 

 

Agility Room - You can create your own agility course to train on. The higher your construction level, the better obstacles you can make.

 

 

 

Farming room - Comes with 5 hotspots to build farming patches in. The higher your construction, the better the patches.

 

 

 

Woodcutting room - Comes with 3 tree hotspots. Once built, they act like regular trees. You cut them until they run out of logs, then its a stump. Then wait for it to respawn. The higher your construction level, the better the trees you can build.

 

 

 

Mining / Smithing room - Comes with a furnace hotspot, an anvil hotspot, and 3-5 rock hotspots. Each furnace can smith certain ores, depending on the level of it. Same thing goes with the anvil. The higher your construction level, the better the furnace, rocks, and anvil.

 

 

 

Fishing room - Comes with 3 fishing hotspots, a range hotspot and a tool hotspot. The room has a pond in the middle of it. The fishing spots can contain 2 kinds of fish. The range burns fish less the higher the level it is. The tool hotspot contains all the fishing supplies, except for bait. Each hotspot contains better things the higher your construction level.

 

 

 

Theiving room - Contains 3 Stall hotspots and 3 human hotspots. The stall hotspot can be built to contain any of the other stalls you steal from. The human hotspot can contain NPCs that you steal from. The higher your construction level, the better the things.

 

 

 

Crafting Room - Contains 5 "Supplies" hotspots and a "tool" hotspot. The supplies hotspots can contains things like flax, cows, dragons ( 100% hides, nothing else, cannot be brought out of house ) snakes for snakeskin, gem rocks, gold rocks, silver rocks. clay rocks, and seaweed respawns. The tool hotspot can contain spinning wheels, pottery ovens and wheels, a furnace and range ( for glass ), and any other thing i forgot. The higher your construction level, the better the things you can make.

ya lol would be cool if they didnt have a room limit then we could own HUGE houses...

 

 

 

and a bank in your house lol.... but then what about the beers? when you leave someones house you usually lose the beer.

Well i like the bank idea but everything else is inpratical. The point of traveling would be gone. The only other idea that i think might be ok is the no-limit house. but then again there is always upstairs. back to the 1st point maybe if u could only build 1 skill room maybe it would be ok but no more than that. The game wouldnt have any competition challenge and wouldnt become as fun. Although i think a higher servant would be better that can take non construction items to and from the bank for u.

I agree with the unlimited space, but nothing else. The reason? Construction was made to drain money, but it hasn't done that great of a job. There are still a lot of players with a lot of money. Some of them have house with 20 rooms. IF Jagex took away the room limit, then they would build more rooms adnd lose more money, exactly what Jagex was aiming for.

Anyways the suggestion, It's all good, exect having the bank in your house. The reason for this is guilded altars, and transporting bones to the guilded is alredy fast enough with the teleport to house magic spell. Having a bank in your house would be even easier

I think putting a bank in your house would really take away some challenges in this game, we have too many banks as it is, we even have one in lumbridge now for recipe for disaster. as far as skill rooms, i guess if i didnt want to have to compete and do anything really at all except click the mouse, then it would be a good idea, but id rather keep the game more difficult. weeds out some of the lazy players.

I disagree.

 

 

 

1) The reason for the 20 room limit is because of server space. I think there should be a limit, but maybe like 30-40 rooms.

 

 

 

2) That would make skilling far too easy...

non of these segestions would be not over powering... no: own agility course, fishing spots, tin to rune rocks, etc etc etc for your own... and who is going to cheack that you arnt macroing with you alone there.... and all posibilitys to macro...

We don't need bank rooms just closet hotspots, doesn't that sound better and it goes along with houses.

i love the idea but like tripsis says jagex would run out of server space :? nice idea if jagex upgraded their server space and everything..it would be awesome to have..

The only things i agree on are: More rooms

 

 

 

And the agility room, I think that world be really cool and fun.

 

 

 

I have some ideas: You could have a swimming pool :D (got this idea from sinking in trawler today)

 

 

 

And a 'construction bank' which is a chest which only has 34 spaces in it.

Second - Bank Rooms - Finally, a way to make skilling ridiculously easy, thus messing up the high score boards something terrible.

 

 

 

Agility Room - Even less server space! Woot!

 

 

 

Farming room - Why not just take a short walk from ardongue or catherby and farm there?

 

 

 

Woodcutting room - Superfluous, to say the least.

 

 

 

Mining / Smithing room - So, you can have the rune mine that's closest to the bank, eliminating the risk, thus decreasing the price of rune dramatically.

 

 

 

Fishing room - Imagine half a million people with this level with houses by the sea or a lake

 

 

 

Theiving room - As some guy above me said, you hire people so you can take things from them?

 

 

 

Crafting Room - Eliminates the challenge of RCing.

cool ideas, but for the theiving room, maybe garden of tranquility would be required? so you can use your ring of charos to trick people into going into your home so you could steal from them =p

 

 

 

and... it should be a quest/mini game for all of these rooms

 

 

 

did you add in a pond? for fishing?

 

you fill it up like you would fill up a beer barrel

 

you make a pond then use 25 of a certain type of fish (raw)

 

wait 35 minutes, and then you can fish till your hearts content

 

 

 

maybe more than 25 fish... because you would get a lot of fish this way

Nah a bank would make it wayyy to easy. I think what would make more sense is if you got the xp but you wouldn't be allowed to take the produce items outside of your house just like beer.

The thieving room is a little too much, OKay I built all these stalls and hired these people now I shall tell them that I am going to steal from the stalls, then you basically get free items from stealing from hired help and its like some parts r okay but alot of it is too much

First Idea: Just expand it

 

Second: NO! With all of ur idea its not skill, its SKILLS, with bank rooms and skill rooms you've taken the fun and challenge out of raising skills entirely

 

 

 

Third:

 

Agility: Yea...this could be sweet!

 

Farming: 3 patches

 

Woodcutting: uh..farming patches=wc?

 

Mining/smithing:N.O.

 

Fishing: Ok idea

 

Theiving: Why? Ardy's pleanty good

 

Crafting: No, this is a great skill and your just takin the challenge out of it.

And I thought cook and smelt "x" made everything too easy. But this is insane, you guys! Come on! Do you know how easy this will make runescape? As many rooms as you want too? If this is implemented, every newbie on the block will have maxed out skills so quick, Jagex won't even have time to fix it.

 

Sorry, makes everything too easy.

 

Even if it does require high Construction..
