NarcAngel Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 You know, we all hear about how each and everyone whine about PC being lost now because of low level invasions, of course, I don't exclude myself from the whiners. Now, I never do clans, I work on my own, I'm pretty darn antisocial so clans don't attrack me. But the thing is, I mean, isn't the obvious answer spitting in our faces? We all, or almost all have instant messengers, be it ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, etc. I mean, wouldn't it be quite simple to organize something like a club and have people join in and who are verified and do PC? This wouldn't be a clan per say, as everyone would join just so they could play in a server free of certain levels. Of course, that wouldn't stop from having "leakers", but that could be fairly easily delt with. So my inquiery is, does anyone know if such a group exist or do most of you rely on clans? I'm level 108, I have no interest in playing with a level 45 who basicaly gets a free ride off of me so I am actively searching for viable solutions out there. Even if you only join so you know what the current world is then your still contributing to helping all the other members on that world win. I have a few people from Affliction added on msn, and if I can't be bothered seeing what the current world is I just ask them. You could always just add me on Msn and ask me what the current world is, but im not always on, whereas the Affliction board is always up, and has the correct world. dudeguy409 Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 i dont think they care if youre antisocial. just join a clan like heart or affliction. i dont think they require that they have conversations lol. and also, if you go through your life thinking you are an antisocial persin, it only makes you less social. just get over yourself. saying a stupid thing is better than saying nothing at all. Same here, I've never had the patience to stick with a clan because I like to do my own thing, but I joined Affliction because I was raged about how often i wasn't winning at PC. It's not really a clan as such, more a place for people who know how to play Pest Control, and want to reap the rewards from it, to join together and help each other train. I mean, "affliction" is surely not the only clan out there that does 90+ PC's. What I would trully wish for is something that unites everyone (90+ of course), something that doesn't wear a name, but is exclusively dedicated to better PC'ing. tefda Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Speaking as an unofficial official representative of Affliction here's what I've got to say. We're in it for the points. Sure we love hanging out with each other and getting together for purely affliction Pest Control time but we're really just in it for the points. We're not a clan, we do not owe our allegiance to any one man. The only thing we could unofficially officially say that we adhere to is the fact that we want PC points and we don't want lower leveled players crashing the PC world. If you're above level 90 then we want you. You don't HAVE to introduce yourself or make yourself "known" to all of the other players. According to a bunch of the higher up's in the group they say we have well over a few hundred members. I know a fraction of them, I have only about ten or so posts on the forums but I'm still playing Pest Control whenever I can and benefiting from joining that group. Just because you don't want to hang out with a "clan" doesn't mean you shouldn't benefit from the overall power of Pest Control, so long as you contribute to the games and pull your weight. You don't have to go to any parties or even converse with all of the members. Go and help out, you'll be really happy that you did. Join Affliction and you'll be rolling in PC points and we are not a clan, just a group os higher leveled people who are working toward the same goal. I'm personally in Heart Unit, but they've closed applications right now.
