Leeds festival

You went last year, didn't you? This year looks a lot better. I'd go, but it always clashes with The Mathews Street Festival, which I really love (and the night in Liverpool after ;))

If you can, check out Bedouin Soundclash. They're a really easy listening reggae band. You may have heard a bit of their song on that T-Mobile ad, the "hey-hey-heeey-hey-hey-hey!" one, when they fold down buildings.

Anyway, it's worth a gander. Of course, don't miss Muse on your life!

Na, this is my first festival. The bands I want to see are Mastodon, Slayer, Pearl Jam, Dizzee Rascal, The Streets, The Cribs, and Arctic Monkeys.

That's a lot of good bands there! What I would want to see should I go:

Pearl Jam

Placebo

Franz Ferdinand

Muse

Artics

Feeder

The Streets

Kaiser Chiefs

Belle & Sebastian

Panic! At the disco

Flogging Molly (!)

The Raconteurs

Bodycount

Reel Big Fish

Flogging Molly, again

Oh, may I advise you to go and check out Soulwax: Nite Versions and 2ManyDJs? They were considered the best performers at Werchter, a similar festival in Belgium. They're also Belgian, so you just have to see them ;)

The Streets and Arctic Monkeys i'm mainly implying. And of course the cookie cutter emo bands on the first day.

Well this ruled. I watched Mastodon, Slayer, The Kooks, Pearl Jam, Towers of London, Dizzee Rascal, Primal Scream, Alan Carr, Wolfmother, The Cribs, The Streets and Arctic Monkeys. Good times

You saw The Streets and Arctic Monkeys over Muse  Depressing...

My uncle went and said that AM were awful.

I actually only watched half of Arctic Monkeys set, I was asleep before Muse even hit the stage. I hate them

Shame, my uncle had never heard Muse before and said they were amazing.

Oh gosh, I wish I lived in England!

Flogging Molly live, how completely awesome :|

I'd also see Muse, Coheed and Cambria and Placebo from that list, as a must.

I wouldn't say no to most of the others either.

Except Slayer, I don't like 'em. :P

Apart from the Emo fest on the first day, it was a great festival. Muse blew everyone else away there, confirming that they are the best band to see live right now.

Mastodon, Slayer, and Pearl Jam = Emo fest?

Ah, I could have sworn that Panic, Aiden, and Fall Out Boy all played on the fri. That would have brought the total up.
