yeah, the prayers just affect accuracy, not max hit. i think more pures will get higher prayer to use them, they're pretty beastly 8-)

Well, I did hit a 21 with range pot and new prayer on a rc pker today, without prayer i was lucky to get a 20 in. 8-)

all that shows is that it just increased the accuracy.

As a range/mage pure I must say that the new prayers are insane. At 81 range, i can hit a 19 max. Same as without. However, unlike without, I can now ko with 19 18 specs, just like dragon dagger pkers.

The range prayer is really good.

 

I hit considerable higher with it on. (don't mind the knowledge database, it always has errors, trust what happens in the game).

 

I can actually range effectively at cw against meleers.

 

I was using karils crossbow the first day it came out and I was hitting 25s with 96 range (24 was the old max for 99s).

 

I ripped through the flag holder in his dharoks even when he prayed against range.

 

A very nice and needed update for rangers.

 

 

 

The mage prayer is disappointing.

 

I really dont see a big difference with it on or not.

 

Maybe thats because im 99 and never really miss anyway. :P

Yes ranged prayers will make you hit higher, but i have a feeling it reduces your accuracy (atleast i hitted too many zeros while i had my pray on...)

And yes I think it will affect pking pretty much since they help quite a bit, a guy in torags helm and legs kept hitting 15+ on me yesterday..

 

Sorry, but you should really take ur past tense into consideration. There is no such thing as hitted and hurted.

I have 77 range. With range prayer 15% I should have the equivalent of 88.5 range. So let's take me and a new crystal bow, and a lvl 88 ranger with a new crystal bow and run comparative analysis for an hour or so.

 

 

 

Hey also since Magic Defense is relative to the target's mage lvl, would the prayer boost mage def?

Higher range level means higher hits and it raises range by 15%. So you hit higher with it, no doubt.

lol..... I have experienced it first hand, lets just say if ur a pure and see a ranger with 99 range, you might wanna stay out of their way, a 24,16 spec put me out yesterday lol
