They should put more use to firemaking. If your firemaking is real high then should burn less food because u have higher firemaking you can handle fire better.

 

 

 

Yeah there is something wrong with the skill at the moment, it's absolutely useless for f2p players besides the fact that fires r mobile stoves all it does is burn logs that could be sold to members

How about this? If your firemaking is high enougth you can BURN THOSE ANNOYING MACROS INTO ASH!!!!!!

 

Or you can do it the easy way. If you firemaking is high enougth and you light a fire underneath someone, the guy goes " ouch!" " hot" "it burns!!!!" kind of like in dranor manor.

d0wn with macroers.. and i agree firemaking should be more useful but it in itself is useful... you need firemaking to light lanterns, candles, and all light sources, you need it to do the rag and bone man quest you also need it to use firelighters :P so its just a support skill...

A better idea would be to have different logs burn differently.

 

 

 

For example, make higher level logs burn longer and burn less food. So with magic logs and gauntlets maybe you stop burning shark at 90, or at 95 without gauntlets.

 

 

 

Also with magic logs a fire might last 5 times longer than a normal fire.

And who can forget Shade Burning? It's a fairly good way to make money, probably not the best, but better than some.

It's a lantern you use in dark caves (such as Lumbridge Caves) to be able to see what's going on down there.

 

 

 

It's the best light source in the game. It can show you how it would be like you were not in a cave.

Lighting up dark caves, buring shades what more could you want lol. 1 lv away from being able to light mining helm! woo :thumbsup:

also, just so ya know skeetingpete, you already do have a way of burning less food when you have a higher lvl.... of cooking that is!!
