September 2, 200619 yr ok, this is not asking for help and advice, merely looking at what others would do if in my situation. Ok, so here are my stats, and in case you can't see the picture, they are: 80 COMBAT (Pure F2P): 60 att 76 str 44 def 90 ranged 81 hp 45 prayer. Initially, i was going to stop at 90 ranged and train str to 90, but after seeing imakuni0's f2p pking vid (99ranged, 86def, 102combat) and seeing how effective he was as a "tank", im really unsure of what to do. So i would like to know your opinions on what you would do if this account was yours and you had to make it an effective f2p only pker. The options are pretty much: a) get str high and become a rune pure. (if i got 90 str and 70 att, i would be 90 combat.) B) get my def very high (around 90) and ranged to maybe 99 and turn tank. (if i got this 90 def i would be around 95-100 combat) This is a big decision as i will not be able to change after i do either possiblilties, so i really would like to know what you would do in this situation. September 2, 200619 yr I myself am going for the following stats: 70 Attack 70 Strength 90 Defence 94+ Mage 90+ Range 70+ Prayer These stats will take a long time, but they will pay off. To answer your question, become a tank!

Yeah, go with the def, if you are pking in high lvl wild and you come across someone with the same range lvl as you, but higher defence, you will get shat on =P~ . You could be the guy with high def :P ATM I am making a range tank (Unless I get bored :P). I'm going for 80 defence with 90 range and 1 prayer. I'll be 85 cb :)
September 3, 200619 yr Author ok, thanks for all the replies, i think ive decided to become a tank. Right now im 90 ranged, 44 def, will get def up and range up as well. Don't know about prayer though.. is it worth it? thanks (i can easily get prayer because i always do most damage to moss giants in varrock) [Ranged is too fast]. and once again, remember, i am entirely f2p and will continue to use this character to pk in f2p wildy. thank you 99 Ranged F2P achieved 21 November (2961st)

If you plan to use it very little then leave it as is, and you will still have the option of the protect prayers and "Eagle Eye". If you will use it in most fights then I say get it to 65-70, as this will allow you to go in deep and pray, without needing to recharge every fight. Personally I would leave it as it is in order to keep combat as low as possible, substitute those prayer levels with either 85 Str or 95+ Def, which will not need to be recharged.. BTW could you tell me where you trained Ranged from 40-60? I am having a hard time finding a place that I like... I_Xpk3r_I: Future Mayhem Maker

September 3, 200619 yr ranging from 40 to 60 is easy, train at scorpions when its not crowded in f2p, and get like 5 scorps at a time trying to attack you you will need to stand on a safe spot tho, behind the rocks... i did this, got from 40 to 45 in like 40 min :P currently im 70 on my new prue
