pizzalord1 Posted November 20, 2006 Author Share Posted November 20, 2006 Stealth post from college, ROFL First off, before I start, IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m sorry about not saying much in-game if you said hi, because I have been experiencing terrible lag recently in castle wars. Second, IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m sorry about this post being so late. I forgot to upload it to my blog before the weekend started rofl. I haven't forgotten about you lot just yet, so don't call the all-clear yet. Third thing on the list is the flash project. Good news and bad news. The good news is I now have a working script for series one! \ As soon as I have my copy of flash validated, I will make a start on the project. I will post a preview of what to expect soon. The bad news is that IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve now been tasked with a new flash project for this week: the live TV opening titles. Why is this bad, I hear you asking? Well, it eats into the limited time I already had to start my own project. Considering that I havenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t mastered character design, this is a danger to my Christmas launch target. Next are games. Tomorrow I hopefully will be enabled to pre-order my Wii from Amazon, which should arrive on the 8th of December. Runescape: I havenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t been on much recently due to my building tension for the Wii launch and new Zelda. That and college recently has been pretty draining on me. But when I have been on, IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve only been on for Castle wars as of recently. LetÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s hope that the next few days yield an update to keep me busy. Also, I hope that the recent name-changes for some of the worlds will reduce the lag I have been getting as of late. Wrap-up College has been fun, although draining, and I havenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t had access to flash at home, due to it needing to be validated. Still, that should be sorted out this week. However, i am going to try to make this a bit more challenging by treasure trailing the money! I need around 300k for the two levels i need to create it, and then about 1.2 mil for the altar itself. Current funds: 1 mil! Trails done so far: 6 Current treasure trail items: SARADOMIN CHAPS sold for 300k! Saradomin page 2, 1 and 3 Buyer pulled out :( Zamorak page 4 Rune full helm (g) Current treasure trail total: 820k Current high-alched loot: 340k gp Total lowest loot gathered so far: 1160k EDIT: if anyone feels like buying anything on the list, just drop me a message ingame. pizzalord1 Posted December 10, 2006 Author Share Posted December 10, 2006 As you may be wondering... I've stopped coming on since Thursday, and the reason, when you think about it, is quite obvious. I got a Wii. Thats the first point, but does it deliver? The answer is yes. I went along to my local Tesco extra for the midnight launch, as they were not taking pre-orders. We queued up for 4 hours to get hold of one, and it was worth it. Got a copy of Zelda and Wii play, and went off home for the first play. No bugs whatsoever, easy set up, and within a few hours the next day i had both my mum and my housemate on Wii play blasting targets with the remote. As for Runescape, i probably won't be on too much, maybe to check out updates and whatnot for a few weeks. I still haven't forgotten about my house building goal. Flash is once again unlocked for my use, Zelda is utterly fantastic, for some reason Runescape's music is working again, and the sun is shining today after a week of being battered by high winds. My idea is finally starting to take shape, so maybe i can start concept art, because i seriously need to get some skills. So soon i am going to start messing around with flash again when i get in the mood: maybe expect a huge art thread update soon. Membership runs out in 3 days and i am not going to renew it for a while. There is a reason behind my madness: I want to perfect my art. I am taking the time that i have off from college and using it to practice. I am undecided as to take my ideas and use them to make a comic for the time being rather than an animated series, at least until my skills improve. That and my ideas still aren't coming together like they should. I have a basic idea for the storyline, but i haven't thought about how to fill in the gaps. Most likely i will start this in the new year. Heck, i haven't even got a good name yet :XD: I will be posting concept art in my art thread, but i shall leave the fate of the blog to the gods. If they are amused enough with my efforts, then it shall be saved from the page eating monster. If not, then I'll just start over. \ Anyway, its probably time i started closing up the blog for now. I shall still be a force to be reckoned with in the forums, and i will keep ye all posted on my progress in the art thread. Until the new year, fangs for the memories and until next time minions, Good fry!
