recently, instead of still screenshots, i've been using moving images in my sigs: the 30 with ice barrage i took frame by frame and edited so it would run nicely, then i got some video capture software so i could do things like the dharok one easily, then i captured my fire cape for a few seconds and narrowed it down to the few that loop so i didnt have to move my character at all.

 

 

 

and now, i dont want to keep us ing the same background over and over again, so i'm going to start looking for another one sooner or later.

 

 

 

i also hand-edited the skull to flash in the new sigs

If anybody would like a signature made by me, i would be open to the idea, they're not as good as some of the ones i've seen here, but they suit my taste, so i use them for myself for now :3>

He means the way i've cut out my characters, and placed them on a differant background.

Rendering is usually referring to 3D programs. As in, to render a sword.

 

And yes, Holo provided a good definition of Render.

 

Afterall, a render is an image with anything but the focal point removed. Cropped, if you will.

sig number two is the best imo. Even when text is lame, and it has border on only one side (!) ,I like it.

well, the second one does have a boarder all the way round, however there is a SHADOW on two sides.

 

 

 

the greend dots running arround the ranger boots are because it's a GIF animation and each "frame" of the image is rendered seperately, and because of the compression, it causes slight distortion on each frame, so the image becomes lossy and the green appears randomly arround it on each frame.

Generally pixel fonts are used to add a tech feel, to be small and/or usually to add as a subtext. You rarely see people use a pixel font for their name in a signature.

Hmm, I like the on ein the tzhaar place and the last one you posted (not your current sig). The current sig is nice, but whne I looked at the little skull :XD: My eyes! I think you should adjust that skull to flash as slowly as the sigs where you start using that.

Perhaps it's easier then it looks, with all the mean flames. However from me, I gotta say real nice work, I love it :oops: Looks outstanding to me :P

I like the angle where you can barely see the cape animation, it's something new..

 

 

 

But still, as cad said. Nothing special. It's just too simple.

i wouldnt call them high res either

 

that's why i took the fire cape from the side so you can't see it propperly.

i like ur current sig. its nothing too flash but it works well. and i prefer sig 3 to sig 1 and 2, i just dont like the ancient sig as the barrage is too instant. good sigs tho. =D>
