Currently I have

 

7x Santa

 

1x Mask set

 

1x Red mask

 

 

 

1) Should I trade 7x Santa + 1x Mask set (285-295m, about 5-10m below a/w prices) for a White Party Hat? (I'm looking for short term)

 

2) How do you predict a mini-rare increase? (What are patterns when Santas will jump?)

 

3) How do you predict party hat increase? (What are patterns when PHats will jump?)

IMO, masks are cooler than phats, and less poeple wear, but if you want a phat more than you want all of those arres, hget it. however, keeping all of those rares will be an investment, as more poeple die with santas and masks than with party hats, eventually ythey will beocme rareer and owrth almost as much as phats

By the time I see 10 party hats, I normally see about 50 smaller rares.

 

 

 

You wear party hat for the status. If you see a guy wearing a blue (which hopefully I will have, eventually), it's like :shock:

 

 

 

If would never wear a party hat for looks. For that I look to mr. black cav. :D

 

 

 

Smaller rares will never be higher than party hats.

depends of course if we ever get another dupe. the purple phat was once the rarest hat, and is now the most common. imagine what would happen if no one duped the red mask on a potential dupe 8-)

If White Party hat jumps, it will jump 20-40M at a time.

Rare price growth isn't linear - it consists of jagged ups and flats. Occassional downs.

I doubt people would dupe Red Masks instead of Blue Hats.

Sure, Phats are nice as something which shows status, however I would prefer many smaller Rares due to their practicallity. For example lets just say you needed Full Guthans and a Whip, but only had Rare/s in your bank. With a number of smaller Rares, you could keep the Majority of them, and sell maybe one Santa in order to get the cash you needed. However if you have a White Phat, then you will need to sell that, meaning you either have to go through the hassle of buying a new one (most likely for more than you sold for), or you no longer have a rare, which means you lose out on the possible rises they will experience...

Those players that picked up today's rares when they were dropped....those are the lucky ones...

Anyway like I said before. I would only trade your "mini-rares" for a White Phat if you will still have enough money to cover you for things you may need (Barrows Repairs, Food, Pots and any items you might want/need). Otherwise you could be forced to sell the only rare you have, rather than maybe one santa, had you kept the "mini-rares"...

 

 

 

Also with the "Mini Rares" , because you have so many of them, you will be covered, should one rapidly slump in price. However as someone said (may have been you lol), when the Phat's rise in price, they do it in larger incraments (sp?).

 

 

 

Either way you can't really go wrong, as in the long term you will make a good amount of "interest" on whichever rare/s you choose. I think it basically comes down to whether you want the status of a phat, of the "security" of the "mini rares...

Sorry for the double post, but are you sure about this? From what I have heard (Albeit I'm not an expert) they jump up significantly just before X-mas (week before), then drop back down to their "stable" price afterwards...

if whites are 3rd rarest i'd get yellow, but if reds are bellow whites, id get red. I just don't think u should spend all taht one just a phat with no money leftover to get say some barrows armor and other essentials.

errm..get a lower level phat??green perhaps then you can keep a few santas

sell a few of the santas 4 more masks. their so unstable and will drop ALOT once christmas is over

d00d, u kno wat u should do, gimme em all :XD: jkin. i think u should just keep the smalelr rares. its cuz the phats mite grow too expensive for any1 to buy.

Small rares have a higher percent increase. But you could just get enough for any phat and merch them for all your money needs. I know someone who got a cracker by merching phats.
