I've seen people killing the prison guard ones (who are sleeping) for slayer. 2) can anyone tell me if i choose the higher level will i get more slayer xp? I think you do. 3) which would you suggest for good drops .. key half/dragon half/med-high herb/ med-high seeds?? Higher leveled ones :D

But they hit hard, for slayer task I would say spectator trolls (near where dad is from the Troll Strong Hold quest) as they are easy to kill and drop nats, herbs, D spears and rune armour. Just take fire and high alch the junk they drop. Intriguing
Well, the amount of slayer xp you get [Not counting random events. I killed a random event shade while I had a shade task and got hardly any slayer hp.] is the same as the total hp of the monster that you are killing. The best way to go, I think, is just doing up to that death plateau place and killing the trolls there.[Avoid the throwers. :)] Cool.
transcript80
Death plateau is good for troll tasks. You can set up a cannon there if you want fast ranged and slayer xp. There are several kinds of trolls there. I usually kill the high leveled ones (at the west side of the plateau0 while I have prayer, then switch to regualr ones. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
Mazurizi
Or you can use a Halberd on them, I normally do. In future I think i'm going to start fighting Spectator Trolls. They have better drops than I expected.
chris28
1) does it matter what type?? eg. thrower/ice/mountain , for exp kill the melee trolls that are lvl 69 near the entrance to the stronghold or spectator ones near "dad", for drops kill generals or there is another one but i forgot what one and where it is. 2) can anyone tell me if i choose the higher level will i get more slayer xp? Yea you will 3) which would you suggest for good drops .. key half/dragon half/med-high herb/ med-high seeds?? I have killed about 800 spectator trolls and ive not had a rune drop or d spear (I dont think they even drop the rune items tipit lists (look at runehq monster list) and the chances of a d spear are pretty much the same for any monster), for drops go for generals.
