Solutions to trojans?

Featured Replies

anybody has a solution?

cause my computer is totally..loss

(don't download batch files even not from your best friends)

its an [Caution: Executable File] file

its sending the download to all my msn contacts ,HELP?

If it's sending an infected file to people via a messenger or e-mail; stop all internet function. Unplug the cable or disable connection.

Then, get a good virus/trojan scanner and delete it.

That's really all I can say. :?

I have good things to say about Norton AntiVirus. My little sister got on here one day and downloaded a BUNCH of bad crap that was screwing my computer up and nothing but Norton could get rid of it...I tried a dozen different programs and Norton got rid of all of it.

Norton is a resource hogging pile of crap. Uninstall it and all it's peices and you'll see what I mean. My dad was amazed by how much faster his P4 ran after his harddrive died and the new one was still Norton free. :P

That coming from someone that got infected in the first place doesn't make much sense. You'd probably be in a much better position if you'd actually bother trying it. It's cleaned many infected computers for me. :P

Anyway, boot into safe mode (press F8 while your computer is starting up) and run your virus scans from there. Make sure you select "with networking" so you have access to online scanners like TrendMicro.

I uninstalled it right after I used it. ;) It worked, so I got rid of it.

That should make everything nice and new again :) . Make sure you download the drivers you need for your hardware.

Install Ad-aware and Spybot S&D for spyware scanners if you haven't already.
