September 25, 200619 yr There seems to be some debate about whether the new range prayers affect the max hit or not. I know that the mage prayer only affect accuracy, but do the range prayers affect your max hit AND accuracy? The tip.it prayer guide says ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâno̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢, but some others say that they hit higher with crystal bows. Is it only crystal bows, or have F2Pers found they hit higher with maples as well?
September 25, 200619 yr I haven't used them, but I'm under the assumption that they do add to your max. Cool.
September 25, 200619 yr I thought they just increased the accuracy ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!
September 25, 200619 yr they do hit higher, i hit 27s with full cbow with 91 range potted and 15% prayer
September 25, 200619 yr Author I wrote to Jagex a few days ago, and guess what? I got a reply today :) Dear Nicealcoolj, Thank you for contacting Jagex. The Ranged Prayers (Sharp/Hawk/Eagle Eye) all increase your range total by the set percentage. This should affect everythin related to your range skill, such as chance to hit and damage range. For example, if you had 75 range skill and used the Eagle Eye prayer (the +15% one) you would then fight using range as if you actually had a Range skill of 86! Seems like the good folk at Jagex cleared it all up for us after all!!!
September 25, 200619 yr Unless it just improved my luck in getting it, I'd say it may increase the max hit by 1, at the right point in the arrow type / level scale. By the same token, the Mage boosting prayers should increase the possible max hit of the Slayer Dart spell only, the only spell with a hit that is level-dependent.
