I have a Hybrid Range/Mage Pure (55 Range, 46 Mage, 45 HP, 39 Combat at the moment), and I have a couple of questions... 1) What range, mage, and strength+attack levels would you suggest for doing Horror From the Deep? 2) Same as above, except with Desert Treasure (insane, I know :shock: ) Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated. (Also, I dunno if this is the right section to post this in; feel free to move it if you need to.)

September 28, 200619 yr :ohnoes: 1 def and dt don't mix! Please try to wear the best defense armor/clothes possible... they hit hard and I was 60 def when I beat it. September 28, 200619 yr Author Be aware I've done DT before, but this on a pure...and as you should probably know by now, it's kinda different considering I won't have Prayer or Def :shock: and yes, I will be using Snares; although, Dessous and Kamil are what worry me :| Kamil will hit extremely hard without Protect from Melee...I watched R 3 C 0 I L's guide for pures, but I couldn't tell what his stats were :? I'm guessing 60 Range and 60 Mage or a bit higher should be good enough...

September 28, 200619 yr ive seen many pures do desert treasure with 1 defense, although they do have 43 prayer. I'm sure a l33t gamer would be able to do it with 1 prayer but if you aren't into intense situations and dying 3-5 times on every time i wouldnt suggest it:( Tank Range !!

Take lobs and try to just mage it, or get str, attck, def, etc. up and melee/mage it. Desert treasure, dont even try without doing heros quest for ice gloves and before getting 60 mage. I have friends that tried it with 50-55 mage, and they didnt even get past the first/second battle. Ice Gloves aren't needed...just bring water runes instead of staff...and on my main I did it with 50 mage :-$ I'm kinda answering my own questions now, but whatever...thanks everyone for the help, it's helped a lot :D

Only if you do Priest in Peril; can't you just use someone's Canifis portal in their house? o.O
September 29, 200619 yr I haven't heard that you can use that teleport to do it. Otherwise im angry.. i rounded my pure off with 13 prayer. Im stuck on desert treasure with 1 def and 1 prayer... I've got the blood diamond and i am stuck on damil. I died once today and got a little angry. I beat the first form of damil.. Do you know if i will have to fight the 2nd form or 1st form? September 29, 200619 yr Author Doesn't reset; after watching the Desert Treasure guide for Pures on YouTube (can't post links, so just look up "desert treasure" or something...) there should be a lil' room near the entrance to the large room where Damis and the skeletons, dogs, etc. are. snare him, run into the room then try and get him stuck behind a rat :P OR easier way: bring a friend, have Damis get caught behind him (pretty easy, just don't let any other player run through your friend or Damis will too and own you #-o ) anyways, good luck. (and for the record, I did Priest in Peril too >.<)
September 29, 200619 yr Priest in Peril is a prequest and you cannot start dt without all prequests done. So portal doesn't help. And, it is possible, just really hard. One guy posted a while ago about how he did it on a staker pure with 11 prayer 1 def and 10 hp. :P
