Hehheh, today I was at school and there was this guy in the parking lot with one of those huge spoilers, everyone thought it must be such a fast car. I wonder if he has any idea that that wing is actually producing lift and that lift is a bad thing when racing.

Have you seen some of those spoilers? They are made of plastic, cost like $20, and have no real aerodynamic planning gone into the design. Heck, I bet some of the designers of those spoilers have no idea what fluid dynamics even are.

 

 

 

It is true that ones from professional tuning/racing companies will improve performance on the track, but most of them are supposed to make it look like you actually know something about racing.

I love tuner cars, i am crazy about them and i have aquired a large knowledge for them. bte boogity, that is a terrible soiler kob, it looks like it was just bolted on, no bondo either. :shame: ANd wth is that body kit, it is nasty. Those diffusers on the rear bumpe are way too high up. and get a nice paint job. When i can drive i want to get a nissan 350z, with a japanese aero body kit, twin turbo, chrome headers, roof scoop, hood scoop, koin racing rims, dual catback exaugst kit, aero spoiler, nitrous, neon on the trunk, engine adn trunk, 4 8'' subs in the back, with 4 kenwood ams, and a few bazooka tubes under the seats. Perfeormance chips and a crapload of other stuff including custom fiberglass enclosures and bodywork.

Uh...you're on the right track hating the Camry, but 90% of what you just listed you liked is rice. I'm a car audio installer and your audio wants are definetly not the right track to follow....The 350Z you just described is rice, please never do that to a car.

Dunno y, but i just love tuner cars more than american cars. Don't get me wrong, i have nothing against american cars...just some of the drivers. Think they're all big and bad because the have a 3.5+ liter engine. As for me, right now i drive a 2005 Civic Si. The black sheep of the Honda family...lol. Dunno y they jipped us this model. We don't even have the power Vtec...darn Honda.

 

 

 

 

 

 

So far i've put about 2k in my car. BTW gehjl, you just restored my faith in imports, I'm glad someone knows what he's talking about when it comes to engine performance, not just reading the "specs" off a car in NFSU and calling it a tuner.

 

 

 

And 74gto, do you actually know how those parts increase performance, like actually know how an engine works? Have you ever disassembled an engine and bored out the cylinders, or ported and polished one? Do you know how to even install half the parts you listed? By the way, I couldn't find "titanium gaskets" for sale anywhere I looked.

You admitted you can't drive yet, I'll give you a few years to grow up, then come back to me. We've all been through this phase, it's pointless. If this is your "dream car" I will personally own you with my camaro that looks completely stock from the outside, you have much to learn.

My car, when i get it. 1994 Toyota Supra. First i'm doin' the engine, then outside, then interior. The horses this beast should put out are gonna be in the 850-900 range. Gonna slap on a Bomex body kit, APR alluminum wing. Interior, almost completly Sparco products. Wheel, seats, harnesses, pedals. And yes, 850-900 horses will KILL Ferraris, Lamborginis, and all those weird shaped "super" cars. =P~

Show cars are rice, unless they have the performance mods to back it up. Most don't. Period. Don't worry about my car, theres not one ridiculous mod done to it, all stock visually. I'd rather put my money into making the car fast. I think most people would agree.

The tint is unnecessary, the rims are unnecessary, and depending on the equipment, I'm assuming the sound system is unnecessary. The mods are ricey but if the car is fast, it outweighs it to some degree.

Mr Gregg, I will belive you when I see it. The Supra is a car I respect (rear-wheel drive,) but if you dont build it right it may get 850 hp, but will blow up when you try to race it. I still doubt you will even get anywhere near that much power without using copios amounts of NOS. One more thing, how will you pay for this, take daddy's credit card?
