mrgregg2
My Supra will probably have tint. Mainly because black windows will look cool with the red body. The interior will also be red/black. The engine will also have a red touch to it. Like the tubes and lines. :anxious:
bad_bobby
Well my BMW broke down on me when I was driving to school today... i was driving along doing about 3000revs when all of a sudden my engine stoped, i pulled off to the side and eventualy got it going again. Drove along for another 5mins or so it was running fine then it happened again... got it going again except i only got about 100m this time before it happened, then 20m, then 10. I was freaking out lol  I txt my friend and got him to come and give me a ride to school leaving my car on the side of the road. I went back at interval to see if it would work but it was just doing the same thing. So i rang the AA, a guy turned up and he didnt know what was wrong with it so he towed me to my uncles garage. My uncle rang me after school saying he doesn't know what's wrong with it and hes going to get an electritian to give it a scan or something. :-k Yeah so i hope that doesn't cost too much.... I'm going to get a loaner car while the BMW is getin fixed, hehe. Yeah well sorry for hi-jacking the topic
Tigra00
Mr. Gregg, did you copy and paste off of a "Stage IV - 850HP Package with AEM ECU"? :shame: Nope, I copied the 775hp kit. Would you rather i typed it all down by hand? It's the kit I'm gonna get, 775hp for $7,300?? That's alot cheaper than buying all those parts seperatly. Two questions, sir: 1.) What will you even do with 775 HP? Do you even realize how much power that actually is? You surely can't go over 70 MPH on the road, so why would you need 775 HP? Ah yes...Illegal activities? 2.) You're aware that it isn't as easy as "Woot, I have a 775 HP engine! I r go fast!", right? After that $7,300 upgrade, you then have to upgrade the entire suspention, support for the frame (and lots of it) and all that nifty stuff. Another several thousand dollars, unless you want your car to rip itself in half the first time you floor the gas. THIS is the definition of rice, ladies and gentleman. Someone who talks about cars like it's as simple as "bolt-on and go race everyone and never lose!!1" I don't know much about cars myself, but even I know this basic crap. WATCH TV SOME TIME. 775 HP and the torque to go with it would twist your car's frame the first time you slammed on the gas without modifications, and your suspension would just...Not work. I like muscle cars the most, but some cars called "rice" look very nice. I wouldn't be closed-minded to put a body kit on a car, so long as it wasn't rediculous. I'm very choosy about spoilers, though. Short is good, tall is WRONG. The only car that has the right to have a 2 foot tall spoiler on it is the Dodge Daytona/Plymouth Superbird. I personally would love to have a 1999-2003 Mercury Cougar with a certain body kit on it. Those cars looks very stylish even without one, but with one, they're very very low-profile and cool looking. I'm all about driving in style, but that's me...I can't USE 800 HP, so why even get it? It's a waste of money. My 1967 Cougar has 400-ish HP and I can't even use that. Sure, if I went to a track I could, but how many of you have a track handy? Not many, I'd wager. Even if you did, would you know how to use 800 HP? Doubtful! What really makes me mad is people who have parents who buy them brand-new cars. You kids need to die, you spoiled brats. I hope you know that noone respects you and everyone makes fun of you. When they see you driving, they laugh at you and talk about how rich your daddy must be, and they're completely right. Spoiled children who don't appreciate their things. If I was given a brand new car, I would suck up for life and take care of that like it was a diamond, but these kids burn off the tires (or try to), race them (when they're not race cars) and still tell their parents they hate them. Losers. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
____
What about track racing, Tigra? I know plenty of people with illegal mods (not really illegal, but mods that make them illegal to drive on suburban roads) on their daily-drivers because they take their vehicles to tracks to race rather than racing on suburban roads. I bought my own car, parents gave me 1k, that's it. I pay all my payments, gas, everything. For all my mods i saved up for a couple of months and when i got the cash, i bought it. Another several thousand dollars, unless you want your car to rip itself in half the first time you floor the gas. Yes, I have figured out that a stock suspension won't hold 850 horses. I will upgrade nearly every single thing on my car. From shift knob and guages, to engine block and pistons. I figure the car will end up worth over $100,000. Starting at around $10,000, that's pretty good. And about having 850 horse power and not being able to use it. Theres a few tracks around me. And not to mention the car shows. But the major reason is for myself. Knowing I have a car sitting in my driveway capable of 0-60 in just over a second? Knowing I have a car that love and have dreamed about for years? Knowing i have a car from the year 1994 that can kill, if i wanted to, the modern day "super" cars that are to hung up on being faster? You tell me. Anesthesia
Knowing I have a car sitting in my driveway capable of 0-60 in just over a second? Wait a second, you aren't old enough to drive, yet you think that when you are you're going to get a car which, for under $100,000, will do 0-60 faster than the Barabus TKR (a ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã300,000 car which hasn't even been built yet)? Faster than a $1,440,800 Bugatti Veyron at 1000bhp from an 8l W16 and scarcely slower than an 8l top fuel dragster running on racing alcohol at over 6,000bhp? Two words for you: My. Arse. Two words for you: My. Arse. I meant WHEN i get it. And I said OVER not UNDER $100,000. And also, a top fuel dragster goes from 0-300+ in 3 seconds... So in a second they must be going WELL over 60mph. And also, a Saleen S7 with 750 horse power, goes 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Add a little over 100 more horse power and you should be getting 0-60 in just OVER a second. And that Barabus TKR, which I'm assuming is a "super" car (name sounds like it), but if it is a super car, you do realize that 99.9% of these "super" cars are much, much, slower then the actually tuner cars out there. Many "super" cars lack tuner cars in horse power by 100+. Us actual tuner guys take a relativly slow car, and upgrade it in every way, not just looks and sound. We first make it go extremely fast, handle like a dream, and then after that make it look nice. Performance before looks. The exact opposite of a "super" car. Take Ferrari for example. Why do you think a Ferrari costs so much? Not performance by any chance. It's all about the look of the car, ugly shaped in my opinion, and because it has a little emblem on it with a horse in it and the word "Ferrari" above it. The Veyron I mentioned doesn't. 1000bhp - that's over 100 more than you claim your car will have - and by your reasoning (+100bhp = 1/4 0-60 time or 1.4s faster 0-60 time) that should make it half of what you claim your car (that you don't own yet) would do. Anesthesia
So you're not old enough to drive, you don't own a car, you're not old enough to be working full time being a so called 'tuner', yet you expect people to take you seriously when you say your car will do 0-60 in just over a second? What's more, that Saleen S7 weighs 250kg less than the Supra. I challenge you to provide one shred of evidence that the car you propose would do 0-60 in <1.5s actually could. Why don't you pay attention to my previous posts, preaching about performance before looks. And exactly how much was that Supra tuned? New spark plugs? And a fully tuned Supra would beat it in the long run. Sure the McLaren is lighter so it'd start better, but it only has 627 horse power stock... Oh, and the typical tuner guy isn't into "super" cars. Which is what the Veyron is.
