October 4, 200619 yr Sure you can format, you just can't put Windows back on your PC without the CD. :P Borrow one from a mate, as long as you have your cd-key you're awright to use any XP home CD. Notoriously Trollish.

October 6, 200619 yr Well...Hmm...I can't say i know. It brings up a similar question of mine...I'm building my system, OEM windows...What would i do? (It's not the same as retail install...Can't just reinstall i think) I'm pretty sure there are ways to find your code, [OnHold] Contact windows [/300] Or pay their charged number for faster support. It costs though. Ask them perhaps?
