GregEchidna Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 I was recently thinking about the new 'free' teleport, and it's quite interesting. Back in the earliest days of RuneScape, before the wilderness, players would be sent to the 'black hole' instead of being banned. This was just some far off place on the map where players couldn't move and they'd be trapped there forever. Their inventory, of course, would be removed of all teleport runes, so they couldn't leave. The only player that immediately stands out for me is 'Ne,' he was a great fighter of the early days, but macroed and was punished and sent to the hole. My point? Jailbreak! With the new free teleport, couldn't all of these offenders get out? :D That'd be wild. darksniper Posted October 7, 2006 Share Posted October 7, 2006 The black hole no longer exists, and even if Jagex wouldnt have done away with it, it would only exist in runescape classic, which has no free teleport, and even if it did exist in runescape 2, jagex would have disabled the free tele in the black hole, and even if jagex would have forgotten to disable the free tele in the black hole, none of the players would be around to try it :D Still your number 1 fan greg :D Spam DEF: Any post, paragraph, or sentence that does not add to the value of the thread.
