its very unigue i pick the map looking one it seems better the dark green in the other is to i can't think of the word

i think the map one. the green one the cout out lines are too obvious but with the map one it's got the pic to take some of the attention away.

Now just get some more graphics skills to catch up with your creative ideas and you could start making some great stuff :) That'll come with time though so no worries, as for now, I'll keep watchin till ya get to that point.
