October 14, 200619 yr It's 34KB, close, but no cigar. The colours don't match, but I figured out how to save it with transparent edges. Image credit to Google. Rate/flame C/c, it's all good here. I would like tips and help on what I could do better, please! ____ kuroi do u wow?Cassiius|Level 70 Night Elf Preist|RunetotemSambora|Level 37 Tauren Shaman|BurningLegion
October 14, 200619 yr yay u got it working, cute image : in photoshop you can adjust the quality to the size you want in 'save for web' (in File), it really helps reducing the number of colours too :).

October 14, 200619 yr Oh man, big no-no. First rule of pop-out sigs; never used a render that is cut off. (The top of his head and right side). - Match colours. Why red BG yet blue render? - BG needs more contrast. - BG needs more saturation. - BG needs more colour variation, looks very flat. - I assume because you put WIP in that font you were planning on using that font? Don't. It's a very rounded/cutesy render, use an appropriate font. - Border should be on top of everything except the top of the pop-out render.
October 14, 200619 yr good for a first. dont cut off the render when doing a pop out. try not to stick it on the side so that you cant see the end of the sig either. the text should be more bubbly, and roundish. the bg needs to be a blueish color. the border doesnt really fit... btw, check out my new avvy, isnt it teh hawtzorz? wop wop

So that's not a complete different post to mine? I'm sure he didn't cut off the render himself, it was probably the image/render he got it from. How can a 1px black not fit? It's so basic, it has to work really.
October 14, 200619 yr i didnt bother reading the other posts, but looking at it now, lol yeah i guess tehy are almost teh same. one thing i put in my post you didnt mention, was i said dotn put the render on the side so you cant see the other side of the sig. imo it looks really sloppy and unfinished when you do it like that. and what i mean by it doesnt really fit, is maby he could change the color to something that matched the bg and the render more? or maby do something a little different? i think what i ment was that it could be improved upon. wop wop

Generally the idea of a border is to have a definative end, usually a colour like black or white. But I can see why you may want different. What I sometimes do is a 50% outer glow, white set to overlay. Or you can just pick a close colour to the background/render and do a second stroke.

Thanks for all of that, I really don't know how to do all that, though, but I will definately do that in my second and after that. I wasn't planning on using that font, I was just using the font that was the one that I had selected before this signature. I think I did do the border like you explained it. Thanks a lot for the tips, btw. do u wow?Cassiius|Level 70 Night Elf Preist|RunetotemSambora|Level 37 Tauren Shaman|BurningLegion
October 14, 200619 yr I don't much care for the colors but I love the FMA chibi! : Internet Marketing For Newbies
October 14, 200619 yr border = where teh sig ends. if you put the render on the side, and you cant see the border, then you lack a defanant end of the signature, which is the whole point of a border. dont put the render over the whole virticle or horisontal borderline is basicly what we are trying to say. wop wop

Oh, when I read your other posts I was wondering what you were talking about, this post however makes sense. Pomar-It's 34KB, can't use it as a sig, but when I get better, I'll promise to try to make you an FMA sig, lol.
