To quit or not to quit that is the question

 

 

 

i have been playin runescape for about 3 years maybe even more. but i am getting very bored all i seem to do on my main is try to make money because as a member you cant really do anything without it. i find making oney really boring. so i am getting bored with the game and may quit. should i?

RuneScape is a game, and is supposed to be fun. If you don't enjoy playing it, then it has lost its purpose.

 

 

 

If you do "quit", I don't recommend giving away all your stuff. Lots of people have done that, only to start playing again and not have anything. =P

maybe try a few quests. I had the same problem with my guy a while ago even though he was a relatively low lvl, did some quests and I was back in the game!

 

or maybe you have to splurge and by something special.

 

find a skill that you haven't trained in a long time and work on it.

 

create a new character just to walk around feeling noobish again.

If you're really bored, there's not really much sense in playing... But I don't agree that money making is the focus of RS. Lots of players go for the DIY-way or just play to have fun, never owning that much cash.

 

 

 

There are so many things to do. Not just skilling, but doing all the minigames, quests,... Maybe you could set yourself some goals to keep you going. But as I said, something is a bit wrong if you have to motivate yourself to play a game.

If you no longer find runescape interesting dont pressure yourself to play.

but if im not making money i cant do much coz i dont have any weapons right now i dont really have any cash on the acc. i dont want too quit but everytime i logg on to the acc i logg off 5 mins later because i have nothing to do. i might buy a dds n start on slayer tho because i havent done htat in a while. :(

Don't quit. Try and not play runescape for a bit, like 1 month or so. Try playing other games... If u feel that there are other games out there better than runescape, then u'd better quit, If not, then dont.

 

 

 

PS: if ure really quitting, can u try and gimme some stuff?

If you don't want to quit runescape, try and find something that you haven't done yet, maybe a new quest, or perhaps a skill which you haven't trained much yet? Runescape is a large game, and there are many things to do. You could always go pking, if you can afford a new weapon.

 

 

 

I might be able to help you more if I knew exactly what you were doing to make money, after all, there may be much faster and easier ways to make fast cash.

 

 

 

However, if nothing seems to work, there is always the option of quitting. Then again, this does not have to be permanent, as you may simply need a break to revive your interest in the game. There are many options available, it is up to you to decide which option you want to take.

Set yourself goals, like all levels 50 and above, then take it from there?

It obviously sounds like you dont have any goals left. When i dont know what to do i set a goal, ex. gain 30 lvls in that skill to do that quest. Thats what makes the game fun. Your skills are purposeless if u dont have anything you want to achieve with em.
