They will go around each forum and either lock spam threads or move threads that are in the wrong forum. thus making the real moderator job less annoying of deleted hundreds of those spam threads each hour. Come on, we got a huge moderator team, we get litterly hundreds of spam post per day, how can 4 people possibly manage that? Ard_Choille Posted October 28, 2006 Share Posted October 28, 2006 FYI I believe that what you are suggesting is very close to the functions of our existing moderating staff. Currently, our Moderating Team consists of Local and Global Moderators. Local Moderators are more focused on the individual forums they've picked to moderate. Global Moderators, while also listed as Moderators on specific forums, moderate all forums. We all police for spam using our own methodology. All in all, our system works like a well-oiled machine. Even so, we do count on you all to keep an eye out and use the report button too. Thanks for the idea. It's not a bad idea, it's just that we already do what you are suggesting...just not in "cop" sorta way.
