Do not give up on life Cad and to all others coping with depression. You will get through it. Life is a valuable thing, taking your own life is the most selfish and self-centered thing anyone can do. Think of your family, your friends, anyone who is important to you. Think how you would make them feel. Life is a valuable thing, the culmination of a man and a woman who love each other so much that they will make that sacrifice if you will just to bring you in to the world. Don't give up.

Also Cad if you want a more personal response since that was more general see my post on GU.

You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."

I even had bought the bottle of sleeping pills to stop everything :|

Things happened that kept me from doing it, which i'm very glad for.

Fortunately for you (and everybody else) you can't overdose on sleeping pills which has been scientifically proven. I'm not sure whether I should mention that or not since I could save somebody's life by not mentioning it, but just wanted you to know the truth.

Do you have a source? I always thought that if you pretty much took enough of any medication it can kill you.

Well, I did a bit of research, and it would take several hundred of these pills to cause death (and according to other researches, depending on the pill quality 500-800). I should take my statement back in the sense that it IS possible just as death by drinking too much water is possible, but an average person cannot even get his hands on say 300 sleeping pills very easily from a doctor (legally).

But no, even if you empty the whole jar in your mouth if the prescription states 2 to 3 pills daily, it wont be possible.

I've found if I just hang on to each and every day like there might not be a tomorrow it makes living bearable, your friends are the most important thing in your life if you are feeling down, I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the support of my friend, both those i have made in real life and those that I have made online. All you can be is yourself, don't try to mold to the way society says you should look like, act like and feel, we are all gifts to the world and we can do so much with our lives and that is true, always, even if we can't see it right now.

Yeah, depression passes.

I have been off and on since summer ended. I enjoy summers a lot, mostly because there is no school, little to no work to be done, and a perfect time for a girlfriend :P . But since school started it has been harder and harder to socialize with friends that have been really close to me during the summer. They have all different classes than me and we only see each other on the weekends. At least its still something I guess. We do have a lot of fun and they still treat me the same as they did in summer, so it is not like we are getting farther and farther apart or something. So that is a positive.

I guess what I am trying to say is... you have to look at the positives in life and what you have in the road ahead of you. Try to predict when a rough part in your life is going to happen and be prepared for it. I have predicted many bumps days, even weeks, before they happened.

Good luck,
