A lot of stuff in RS are real things. Toadflax and snapdragon are real plants.
Guam leaf is form 'Guam Island' in the Pacific Ocean, I suspect.

50% of the stuff Jagex puts intot eh game is based on real life.

That would make sense. Nightshade/Belladonna, jute, and adamant are all real things. Iban is a group of people in Borneo.

adamantium isn't real

Read a fantasy novel.

Or X-Men.

Who cares if you wear a santa hat..... That's no achievment.

Who cares if you can have 520M, if you have no friends, as well as no reason to play Runescape?

I think what they do is pretty cool. Looking at it in real life, I would never eat that.

jellies pl0x?

and what about ape atoll?

answer that!

Jellies are just another name for D&D's Oozes

and Ape Atoll...Planet of the apes?

And to the one that said adamantium was real, its not, but it existed before in fantasy stuff, such as D&D once again, along with mithril.

Anyone ever heard of black metal? Not me...Seems quite original!

And i Googled pinaple tree and papaya tree, and found out they actually look right :P

And I also like how everythingin the game is based on real-life things, it gets us to learn stuff, and they do it well, so its always somewhat obvious, and kinda humorous

Mos le Harmles is quite close to Mostly Harmless, a novel by Douglas Adams, the author of the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy!

One thing I think is proper to Runescape and Jagex is the bone-burying thing for prayer..Tell me if i'm wrong.

I love how people like to point out that Jagex isn't original.... Some people wouldn't be happy unless every single thing in the game didn't come from somewhere. However, I think it's cool that they would take things from the world; it's somewhat interesting. And as for copying ideas off other places (WoW, someone said, even though WoW wasn't even the first to use degrading stuff...), it wasn't a very original idea, and it makes sense to "copy" (use) ideas that work
