there are so many people with problems about killing Damis the shadow diamond guardian in Desert Trasure quest. well many people waste LOADS of prayer potions in that.

 

 

 

Here I am going to tell you a way to kill it wasting around 2/3 doses of prayer potion!

 

 

 

I don't have images in the guide so I'll try to be most specific as possible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements: 53 magic for earth blast

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Items needed: runes for 100 earth blast or 200 earth bolt, wizard robes (don't risk mystic), teleport spells, 2/3 doses of prayer potions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other: a friend wich must have completed desert treasure.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

equip everything, full prayer potions. your friend should wear a good melee defense armour and 1/2 p pots.

 

 

 

go to the park near the man that give you the ring. both equip ring and a ladder appear :ohnoes:

 

 

 

go down and run (the guide is about killing Damis so i won't explain how get him)and pray if you think skeletons can be a problem. when Damis appear you make sure have prayer on and running energy. Run behing a torch where Damis can't get you and then your friend blocks Damis from walking (is funny because your friend will get most of skeletons).

 

 

 

then just walk away your hiden spot and attck damis \ when his dead pick teh diamond and that's it! you have saved loads of money in potions!

I still think it's faster if you just snare/flames of zamorak. But nice guide, if i hadn't killed him yesterday on my pure, and i had a friend who had done desert treasure, i'd use that method.

I found that using monk's robes with mystic hatt/gloves/boots and using earth wave or blast worked really well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And always bring prayer potions in (4) doses, even if you don't need them all it saves valuable inventory space.

I've heared somewhere that Damis walks now through players if they aren't there....

this not in no way a cheat, thousands of pures have done this, none of them have got banned for this. And if JaGaX really cared would they not have changed it?. I think so.

personaly i don't like pures (don't ask me why) and I think the skeletons can be tricky to a pure lvl 1 defence. anyway thanks.

I did at the skeleton-monster spot in the corner, that might've been fixed though. But only the dogs were hitting me really, and I could range Damis easily (around 60 ranged lol)

no its a cheap way to make people do the hardest quest in the game... this just encourages lazyness and im surprised this isnt locked yet

Actully, there is no risk. When he start moving, snare him again. Seeing there are tons of moneters, its fairly easy because they will folow u around attaking you

tthe most doses i used are 20, but i had a friend giving me ranarr weeds for only 2k apiece
