Help with Avvy Byte Size

The maximum byte size for avatars is 6KB. I have an avvy that's about 21 bytes, but it's still saying it's too much. What's up with it? :?

Too big in size? (max=80x80 px)

I altered the size to 80x80. The same message came up, saying the byte size was too large.

i bet it's 21 kb unless you have like an 8 single colored avatar :-s

I tried it, and you can see the result of it in my avatar space. Though, it seems to be of very poor quality. Is there anything more I could do to increase the quality a bit?

If you have adobe photoshop, you can save it as a jpeg and altah the quality.
